The Austin style guacamole is wonderful. The carne asada is phenomenal. And the smoked Fresno aioli that comes with the squash blossoms is a masterpiece. Please keep it on the menu! I dip the smoked chicken quesadilla in it and it’s an absolute eye-closing staple. Also the Mexican lemonade slaps.

The Dude
First things first.. this place does not feel accommodating for people with newborns and require a stroller. They placed us at the smallest table which made it difficult juggling being a parent and having our food/drink.
I got the steak fajitas. $30 with a little amount of meat and it was barely sizzling, with visible pink throughout the meat. The dude that dropped the food was rude. The waitress barely checked on us. The food did not taste as good as what they’re charging. This place felt like a very mid spot for Mexican food. It was overall just a bad experience.

We had a very enjoyable lunch at Cactus 🌵. Very nice selection of meals and drinks on the menu. Nice selection of outside seating. Big nicely stocked bar with heaps of drinks.
I thought the food was not very tasty. The chicken was tough and gravy was slopped on top of that with some sort of mashed potato. for some reason or another after eating Mexican food pretty much around the good portion of the world This is the only place that gives you a half a portion and charges you for a full portion. I have never seen anyone order a chimichanga and only get half of it, because when I asked where the other half was they told me that's how they serve it. I would not go back and I wouldn't recommend anybody else go there... It is probably one of the worst Mexican/ Tex-Mex foods I've ever eaten.

Great place for happy hour we enjoyed margaritas, the prawns, smoked chicken quesadilla and yummy guacamole and chips and salsa the service was very quick and we were seated right away
