I heard a higher up in the business has passed away. My heartfelt condolences to everyone in this business. You're my favorite place on the eastside and I hope to see you reopen. You guys have a bunch of community support and I'm sure I'm not the only one that craves your eggs benedict. Best wishes to you all.

Everything here is exactly what you want it to be here and I cant wait for Couzins to reopen.

Drove from Des Moines this morning, seeing that they would be open today according to this listing, only to find out they are closed for remodeling. Could have updated the hours of operation

Had breakfast at Couzin's and was surprised at how popular this place is! We ordered a couple dishes and they were all delicious ?

Food was THE BEST and Service was Great!We shared the Hobo Scramble with a biscuit and a side of bacon. The food was honestly so good and the young man who was our server was super kind and helpful! Going to come back here many times over.

Multiple times we have ordered delivery. They package everything into thin plastic containers and the food melts into the plastic. We have had holes through our containers. We called and their response was "we're sorry it's all we have" and then told to go back to uber eats. It's a disappointment that this was the response we got from them over the phone. We cannot eat any of the food that we ordered now. I reported the health safety violation to the local gov health department and contacted uber eats support.

Fast service, everything was cooked exactly how I asked for it and good prices for what I got.

I love this place! The food is great. It’s a fun place I like to go and have breakfast with my cousins. It is definetly a good family restaurant

We ate breakfast from here for the first time today and were pleasantly surprised. It just goes to show you can’t judge a book by its cover. These guys do a great job at pick-up food in addition to making a great breakfast. The veggies in the veggie omelet were perfectly sautéed, the hash browns were crispy and plentiful and the eggs Benedict were cooked to perfection.

This place is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Literally the French crepe I ordered with blueberries were SPOILED. I tried to eat it but almost threw up in my mouth it was that bad. Not only that item was atrocious, so was the other meals my friends and I ordered. The gravy on the biscuit didn’t even come with the order, we had to DRIVE back to go get it, and it tasted like 95% water and 5% sauce. Yuck. Don’t waste your money here!!!

Small, comfortable atmosphere with great food. Each dish I've had is delicious and feels homemade. Every time I go in I have a hard time deciding between the options - everything sounds so good! I really appreciated the fact that both times I've been in my waiter helped me curate the perfect meal from the options on the menu. I'll definitely be back!

I wish I can give you a 5-star but it was awkward moment. First time try your establishment I order you're famous coconut pancake with hash browns .

I have been looking for the best country fried steak my entire life, today I have found it!!! Blows the doors off any other I have had. From the crispy flavorful breading to the slightly sweet but savory gravy 10/10 will come back, 10/10 will tell everyone I know
