Really cute spot. A friend and I have been wanting to try for a while and finally decided to jump on that waitlist. After a little confusion we got wonderful A+ assistance from Emily at the front. She was so so sweet. And everyone else was really attentive. The potatoes are my favorite! Kicking myself for not ordering a treat to go. And having someone assisting with parking was awesome.

Deru is always a winner food wise. They do pack too many tables too close together inside though. It would be so great if they could expand so there's not always such a long wait.

We enjoy and appreciate DERU! Food is good and service is great. However, today one of our items was mixed up in our takeout order (we received a pork sandwich instead of the chicken sandwich we had ordered). This normally wouldn't be a huge deal since DERU makes good food across the board, but this particular sandwich contained some things we didn't like that soured the experience.
It's tough because they even confirmed the correct order (chicken, not pork) over the phone in a voicemail they left labeled, and the box containing the sandwich was labeled chicken (so we wouldn't have known when we received the food in the drive thru - only realized when we got home and started eating).

Best chicken sandwich I think that I have had. Great small area where food came really fast and the service was awesome. The cake was amazing as well and can’t say enough good things about our dinner!

We absolutely love pizza at Deru! My favorite dessert, carrot cake, is to die for and the slice is enormous! My recent fav though is the squash soup - delicious!

The coffee was delicious—rich and smooth, just the way I like it. The atmosphere was also a big plus; it’s cool and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back!
the cake slice is huge!!! omg. but the food was good!! my favorite is the butternut squash soup. it reminds me of indian curry in a way (would go well with rice). its creamy, thick (less soupy than i expected)
