Hanuman thai is our go to thai place in Kirkland. They never disappointed us in taste and portion sizes and we love to come here. Seeing few 1*s recently promoted me to tilt the balance little bit in their favour lol

Amazing service, delicious food, attentive team
Food here is great, I ordered the Pad Thai to go and really appreciated the portion size and the flavor it came with. But I asked for 3 stars and they did not mix in the extra spice. Not the worst thing in the world, but it was surprising to be given an extra container of chili powder.
The reason I’m giving this a 1 star is that they were clearly playing A.I. music through the speakers and it made waiting for the food uncomfortable.
The music was bad, and was on a never ending loop. I know licensing is expensive but at this point just put the radio on and have customers listen to the news, even complete silence would have been better. Hopefully they will have picked better music next time I come to visit.

If you want great food with poor customer service, this is your place.
The Thai food was actually pretty tasty, but we did not feel welcomed at all.
My friend and I are in town working a major tour and wanted something quick before heading back to work. We arrived at 8:40pm — they close at 9:30 — so we didn’t think a simple fried rice order would be an issue. A man told us it was “late for dine-in” but that he would seat us anyway, which we appreciated. The dining room wasn’t busy, so we sat down, ordered immediately, and didn’t ask for anything extra.
Once our food came out, no one checked on us again. We had to get up to the counter to ask for our check, boxes, and bags. While my friend was paying, another customer walked in to ask how long his order would take. The woman at the register responded with, “You can cancel the order if you want,” which shocked everyone. He calmly said, “You don’t have to be so rude,” and even my friend mentioned that his question wasn’t rude — it was something any customer would ask.
I work in the touring/live-event industry where teamwork and customer service really matter, so I understand when places are genuinely overwhelmed. But this wasn’t that — the attitude just felt unnecessary. The woman insisted he was rude, even though he simply asked for an estimate.
As we were leaving, my friend complimented the food and mentioned that the service could be better. Instead of acknowledging it, the woman raised her middle finger at us. We didn’t raise our voices or disrespect her at all — the gesture came out of nowhere. When I calmly said that wasn’t appropriate and we were only giving feedback, she dismissed us, blamed it on a “language barrier,” and told us not to come back.
Looking at other reviews afterward, it seems poor customer service here is a consistent pattern — so this wasn’t something we took out of context or misinterpreted. Our experience matched exactly what other customers have mentioned.
It’s disappointing because the kitchen clearly knows what they’re doing, and we genuinely enjoyed the food. But the customer service overshadowed everything. I hope management takes this seriously, because we would’ve happily supported this restaurant if the experience had been even a little welcoming.
Great papaya salad made with fresh ingredients. to die for. Pad Thai was also quite tasty. Cozy place with jazz music playing in the background.

One of the best Thai food place in Kirkland/ Bellevue area.
They have quick service and i would highly recommend a pick up here coz of speed plus the parking is tricky in peak hours.

I use to live in Thailand and this food is comparable for quality and fresh homemade ingredients. We won't be going other places for Thai on the Eastside anymore.

My favorite place to get thai food, hands down. Love the pad see-ew ❤️ Food is always delicious and they go out of their way to make things right if something isn't correct. Try it!

Amazing food! Highly recommend their papaya salad and ginger garden. I’ve been coming here for years and the consistency and high quality make this a stand out location. Bonus points for amazing service, one of their servers chased me for 2 blocks to return my cellphone!
