I loved this place before. I went there day before it's closing after it's running for 45 years. There was no fanfare and they didn't have many items from the menu and my daughter said Fetuchinni Alfredo didn't taste like before. I wonder whether the Chef and Bartender was the same. If any of you end up running a restaurant for 45 years, I like you to set aside $100 per year so that you can have the same menu on the last day and offer a free dessert to customers.
Any and everyone from the East side in Washington knows of Hectors. Since 1975 this place has been incredible. Still around across the street from Kirkland Marina and the waterfront with a happy hour menu and awesome food. You'll definitely love this place for breakfast, brunch on the weekends or late night.
The grilled chicken in the tacos was toooo dry. The beef stroganoff was okay. The sauce was good but the beef was too chewy. The sangria was really good. I dont think this place is worth the price.
A little bit expensive but the menu is great, and we loved the big terrace, very nice despite covid
I've been going to Hector's for years and have found the dining portion to be up and down without much consistency until recently. I hear there is a new chef and a new manager and I have to say that dining at Hector's now, especially alfresco has been excellent. Everything from the food selections and preparation to the wait staff have been fantastic. I hope their new home on Kirkland Avenue will carry over the same high quality you are finding now. Some businesses know how to step up the quality when the going gets tough....Hector's certainly has! Great job Stuart!
Nice spot in Kirkland. Great and attentive staff; however, food is subpar. Burgers are overcooked, and thin. Sandwiches are so-so. The fries were actually decent(crispy and salty.) would not come back again. There are other spots in this area with better and tastier food.
Very nice pub, classy. Big patio area for outdoor dining. Great food, great service. We highly recommend the mussels! 5 Stars.
Perfect afternoon to be at Hectors outdoor dining. Chop salad was huge and delicious. Hectors is always a great choice in Kirkland.
Extremely slow service, especially considering the low amount of patrons. No one ever checked on us. The hostess also was continuously playing with her hair then rolling silverware without washing or sanitizing her hands. she was more concerned with staring at herself in the mirror than anything else..first time coming here , won't be back. I'd recommend the Lodge instead.
Great beer, great vibe, open space in patio. Proper social distancing. Love coming here over and over. The only restaurant in Kirkland where they have a big patio and all the tables are more than 10 feet away from each other.

The quintessential downtown Kirkland restaurant. A staple and a classic. I especially recommend their brunch menu.
Great place with good food and location.
Nice place to sit down and eat given the times. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Took advantage of the happy hour options to get a $6 burger that was pretty good.
Friendly place, service is a little slow, food is a bit bland, but the location and atmosphere is wonderful.
Nice experience in Hector's restaurant. The service and food are good. The safety measurments are respected (waiters wear mask, social distancing are respected...). We really appreciate our outdoor experience. At night when it starts getting cold they light the fire which give peacefull ambiance.
