Drove by this location on September 6th, 2023 and noticed they seemed to have closed the business and there is a "Space for Lease" sign up.It looks like JB Bungalow is no more? I couldn't find any information on Facebook or Yelp, so posting here to warn others not to plan your next breakfast/lunch/dinner at JB Bungalow, else you're going to be disappointed.Jb Bungalow will be missed, such a great restaurant and location.:(

Got the Bungalow Ribs, it comes with coleslaw but I replaced it with rice. Everything is super flavorful. Great environment & good music lol

Fun little bar/restaurant near Juanita beach. Kids are welcome during the day. The Mai Thai are so good as is the Bloody Mary. They serve some awesome Hawaiian items as well as some beachy "American" items. I love their flat breads and salads. It's on the pricier side but really we go for the vibe.

Mid-sized restaurant and bar serving Hawaiian food across from Juanita Beach Park. Went there on a Tuesday which was trivia night, and the place was pretty lively. We were hungry and ordered a bunch of items. The chicken wings with the Korean sauce was really good. Nice crispy shell on the fried wings, and the sauce is slightly sweet and nice flavors. Got a Kahlua pork slider which was alright. For mains, got the ribs which also had their Korean sauce and it was really tasty. Good meaty ribs, not too dry. Comes with good portions of a coleslaw salad and a macaroni salad. Also got the beef short ribs. Flavors were good, but the short ribs were a little on the chewy side. The rice and veggies that comes with the short ribs were pretty good though. With tips, this was $90ish. The three of us were definitely full.

This place is always good. We come here and split the huli chicken which is probably the best menu item. We also get spam musubi and (if they have it) the banana pie! Though last time we got the banana pie it was a lil frozen. Was still really good and kinda liked it that way.Excellent staff and service, drinks always on point and food is always so good. Come on Tuesday and join trivia at 7 if you're interested!Free parking and it's usually plentiful unless it's super super busy. More parking options are around though and free so we haven't had issues there.

Somehow I ended up choosing a place for a group of 10 relatives. Everyone, myself included, enjoyed the lunch. The atmosphere is casual, friendly, and relaxed. The food and drinks arrived quickly. My burger was excellent. They even sorted out the bill nicely since we had more than 1 family group within our 10. I will certainly go back next time I'm in the area!Parking: Across the street, but close.

Great place for food and drinks! Hawaiian atmosphere and its right across the street from Juanita Beach. The apps are all really good and the ribs were super yummy!

Pretty good all around with some unique twists to dishes. I also liked the open air front, we were able to be inside but get the fresh air and sunshine on our table. We had the fried pickles, poke bowl, and fish N chips. Against, generally pleased though it could have been better. The battering had a slight flour taste as if it was layered a bit dry and thick. Too bad because I love a thick cooked batter. Tartar sauce was nice though and the fish was super thick and juicy! They have a Wasabi salt for fries that sounded interesting but they either did t use it on mine or you can't taste it. My wife did say no Wasabi on her poke so maybe it was just a mixup. I love fried pickles so I'll be back and hope the battering is more consistent. We were hungry, looks like I only got a picture of the appetizer :D

I skimmed the menu & knew it was going to be amazing. They don’t disappoint. I had the steak skewers, Fried ice cream a la mode, spam musubi, and poutine. It was all amazing just so good.

Service was good but the drink prices are insane. I paid $40 for two Mai tais with tip. I might be okay with it if the drinks were good but they were horrible. I’m pretty sure they aren’t sure what a Mai tai is supposed to taste like. I also saw them pouring their “fresh squeezed orange juice” out of a two gallon jug and into a glass bottle to make it look more presentable. Not impressed at all

We popped in here for a quick lunch and I was pleasantly surprised by our experience! The decor fits a fun beach my vibe, there is plenty of seating. Our server was very fast, friendly, and personable. The food was also really good! We got the kahula flst bread, Caesar salad, and the sweet chili shrimp. OMG THE SHRIMP WERE TO DIE FOR. The sweet chili sauce and the crispiness... yum! I will be back just for them alone lol. We wanted to try the barria tacos, but they're only available after 3pm which was a bit of a disappointment but they have plenty of yummy food on their menu so it wasn't a big deal. The prices were fair for the amount of food you get!

Delicious Hawaiian fare, tucked away in the heart of Juanita. Friendly service, large space, variety of options. Dropped in here for girls night on a Friday. Was pleasantly surprised to find lots of open, seat yourself tables. Fast, friendly, attentive service . Tried the Brussels , fries and poke salad, all with good flavor. Loved the wasabi fry dipping sauce. The poke bowl could have had more flavor but I liked the array of veggies- arugula, radish, cucumber. Would have added more poke for extra $, if it was an option. More flavor and more poke would have elevated this dish for me. Want to return to try the spam musubi. Tried to order to go but the kitchen had already closed, bummer.

Surprisingly large menu, great food, boozy pina coladas, the best poutine I've ever had. Good vibes.

Open late and minors can be here too. Food was 10/10. Ambiance is fun with loud music. Service was so fast and speedy. Will come back to try the brunch options

We love this place! The staff is always super friendly, helpful and chill. The vibe is a lot of fun and the food is delicious. One of the only places around with a Loco Moco (and it's fantastic, too!). We come regularly for date night and to meet friends, and we've never had a disappointing experience. Thanks for being a consistently delicious and always fun place, Bungalow!
