I'm moving back to Kirkland and I just saw this place and remembered that the owners of this franchise location are horrible and treat their employees worse than I've ever seen in real life.

Ordeekng a sandwich

Liz P.

I came in to grab my mobile order that was ready for pick-up. When I arrived, I went to where the sandwiches come out and stood there until I was angrily told by the woman with brown hair to "get in line" (I see she's been complained about on here before). I explained that I was just there for my mobile order that was ready to go. She said (again angrily) that she was a little busy and yes, I needed to get in line and wait my turn. I said "so I'm supposed to wait in the long line of people reviewing the menu who haven't yet decided what to order even though my food is ready?" and the manager/owner (blonde woman) snarkily replied "uhh, yesss!!" I called the owner today to discuss, after previously being hung up on, and she asked me "why are you so entitled that you think you can come in and skip the line and that you are more important than the other customers?" Excuse me?? The whole point of a mobile order is to "skip the line" - their online advertisement even says "order ahead and skip the line at Jimmy John's" She defended her staff and stood by how they handled the situation. I'll take my money elsewhere!

The cashiers in this location are super polite and accommodating. It's clean and super fast, fresh and consistent. The owner keeps a close eye on the operations, which is very much appreciated. The only drawback was a super grumpy sandwich maker who kept glaring at me and my mother! Anyone is entitled to their own unhappiness!

We frequent this location at least every other week, if not more, so I get really excited when I buy so much Jimmy John’s that I get a reward!Yay…but not quite the experience I had today. Today, I used a bday reward and $3.99 off an original on 2 separate orders on the same day. I couldn’t stack both, no problem- I did separate orders. No where on the mobile app does it say you can only use one reward per day. I completed my orders to pick up later. Great, super excited about lunch!I got out of my meeting early so I called to see if I could come now as opposed to later. Sure, no problem. The person I spoke to on the phone was great. He politely said, for next time please only use one reward a day. I said no problem, I will do that going forward. I honestly didn’t think it was a problem- otherwise wouldn’t they build that function into the app? Or have a disclaimer? Here’s where the story takes a turn and sadly my opinion of this location drops. Upon picking up my subs a different person loudly exclaims that I am not allowed to use more than one reward a day. Got it I said, someone already spoke to me. I won’t going forward. This same person then continues to talk about it and very loudly and publicly shames me. I just awkwardly stood there. My extra $4 off really must have upset this person. Now in all honestly, I will continue to come to this location because it’s in my neighborhood but can someone share with the staff -please remember to be kind, it costs nothing.

Don't bother ordering ahead. Was told to when I come in to pick up, to wait in the line, tell the cashier I'm there and that'll prompt them to put the order at the front of the line.

Would rate zero stars if I could. My bread was moldy and the staff was beyond rude about it. I asked for the manager and when she came forward said it "wasn't her problem" Will never be back. Skip this place and head to jersey mikes they always have good subs with great customer service.

Always something with this location. Thankfully it was correct this time. Took over an hour and the driver couldn’t even knock or ring the doorbell. Such a disappointing location. I’m done.Edit: couldn’t even eat it because the bread was so soggy. Not to mention the ice had clearly melted and soda was flat. I’m guessing this was prepared and sitting in someone’s car for an hour. Awful.

Here's what I'm gonna say... this is JIMMY JOHN'S!!!! Not a Michelin star restaurant!!! Of course I have standards and expectations, but they're different than the ones I have for a more fancy establishment. It's a similar thing with any fast food restaurant rating really, and I get it, but I also see the other side. I don't expect every meal from Jimmy John's to be otherworldly, incredible, decadent, and life changing. Sometimes, it's not as good, and other times, it's incredible. There are so many factors at play. I also don't expect to have world class customer service when I go to JJ's. I wouldn't stand for anything offensive, rude, or threatening, but I don't really care if the staff go above and beyond in customer service for me. I'm there to be in and out, you know? Take my sammie and go enjoy it at the park or on the couch. I used to go to JJ's all the time in college. Once I moved to Washington in 2020, the thought to go never really crossed my mind. Recently though, I've started visiting more often. Sandwiches are one of the best meals ever? Think about it. You have your balance of fats, carbs, and protein. They're so fun and customizable. You can't go wrong with a sandwich. The bread they use is amazing??? If you didn't know, you can buy their day old bread for 50 cents, which really is a good deal. My bf and I have done that before and we'll make sammies at home. I've never had a true issue with this JJ's location. I always get what I expect and it's always good. The sammies are satisfying and filling. The only other classic sandwich place I've had that I like as much as JJ's is Potbelly's (obviously I love Paseo, Bongos, and Honey Hole as well).

I'm traveling for business and I have never eaten at a Jimmy John's before so a co-worker suggested we go there to get some sandwiches. Upon arriving, everything was fine - the menu said "Turkey and bacon" on the sub of my choice so I had assumed I could pick my toppings at a later stage as most sub places are. I actually did mention infront of the cashier to my colleagues "do I tell them what I want on it now or later" both replying "probably later" and the cashier stayed silent.I saw they were putting tomatos on my colleagues subs without asking so I got nervous... (I have MASTIVE food sensitivities and anxieties) so I went up to ask if I could get to choose my toppings. The lady making the sub told me I should of told the cashier. I mentioned the menu was very non specific as all the other subs listed toppings and mine didn't. She then was like "okay well what do you want". I told her all toppings I wanted and asked about yellow mustard.... THEY DON'T HAVE THAT AS AN OPTION WHAT?! but okok I understand they had mustard packets if I wanted mustard. I'm cool and happy with that.Once handed my sub... no mustard packets were given to me and now I'm at home with a dry-a** sub that tastes like dirty feet.I do not recommend this place or if you do go - don't get the Turkey!!!

Literally shocked at the lack of professionalism especially by this employee. Would answer a simple question and made me feel like I was not welcome. Been coming to Jimmy John's for years and have never received this kind of service. Hope ownership will take a look at their employees and have them reinforce friendliness and general hospitality.
