Was desperate to have a nice cake and decided to visit this place after my lunch. We went in around 1:30 PM on a Friday and it was empty (of course). I saw a lot of other stuff in the reviews but didn't find them when we visited. Looks like they might be seasonal stuff. LOVED THE INTERIOR/AMBIENCE.
So went for the most ordered/recommended Sweetside Toastery Mango sticky rice with Croffle. The mango wasn't that good but the warm croffle compensated for that along with the sticky rice.
The other one we ordered was the White chocolate coconut cake. Was expecting something real fresh but it wasn't. I'm a little disappointed with that. The cream on the top was too sweet for me (I usually prefer a mild flavor of sweet and can't handle very sweet stuff). The parking might be difficult to get if you come in during busy hours.

Parking: Might not find parking during busy hours in the front of the store

The desserts are OK but considerably overpriced. Service was slow.

What’s odd is that they’re called kakigori but they don’t serve kakigori. We had a 16oz mango sticky rice bingsu mini which was $13 and 14.34 after tax. While it was nice I wouldn’t be excited to have it again, especially for the price. The shaved ice didn’t have much taste to it - like regular milk that was frozen and shaved. The surprising thing for me is that 1 year ago the price was around $9 for the mango sticky rice mini bingsu. Inflation has been bad but it hasn’t been THAT bad.

This is a new dessert place in Kirkland with lots of sweet options. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are big. The croffle was made fresh when I ordered, and the buttery smell was amazing. They also served warm mochi with shaved milky ice. I really enjoyed the scoop of red bean in the black sesame shaved ice. However, everything was a bit too sweet for me, and I couldn't finish it because it made me thirsty. Since this is a dessert place, it's normal for everything to be sweet, but I wish they had a water station for customers. I still highly recommend this place for anyone looking for Asian-style desserts in the area.

I wouldn't really recommend this place to eat, but it's possible I came here on an off day for the store. It was during a major holiday weekend, and when I went to the store, there weren't many options of cakes, and the cake I picked out tasted stale and hard like it was old. I ended up getting one of the shaved ice, and I've definitely eaten better shaved ice dessert. The shaved ice was dense and packed, not nice and fluffy like I am used to. Presentation was cute, though, but it came with two biscuits that I didn't think complemented with the bingsu all that well -- it just felt like I was eating hard sugar. One thing I was pleasantly surprised by was the fact that it sold a bunch of indoor plants, and it looked like they sold a fair amount of succulents too, so if you want to get some indoor plants, try stopping by here! The staff was accommodating and seemed friendly.

Those bingsoo are so far the best we’ve tried in greater Seattle area! Mango sticky rice bingsoo and Matcha bingsoo are so good, flavorful and come with warm topping on the side (coconut sticky rice and mochi). Definitely will come bake for all the other flavors.

This is probably the third time I’ve been to this awesome local little dessert cafe in the Finnhill/Juanita area. I love trying local businesses, but they have to be fantastic to keep me coming. There’s something about the combination of cold, fluffy, snow, ice, laced with light condensed milk, as well as fresh ripe mangoes, with a side cup of warm, sticky rice to either combine or eat alone that is simply fabulous. It’s rather addicting, so beware! The café has these gorgeous and healthy plants with their café tables, and while they are for sale, there’s never any pressure to buy any. It’s a cozy and quiet spot and I sure hope With our patronage, this small business can make it!

They're cool... so long as you go there when they're open; which is Thursday through Sunday. Ignore if the open sign is still lit.

We've been here quite a few times with the kiddos and really love the atmosphere. We love exploring through all of the plants as we wait for our order. The dessert is always very good and we love the different types of interesting options. The employees are always very pleasant.

Came with some friends from out of town. They ordered tea, coffee and a croffle. After over 1.5 hours, we still did not get our order. We asked 3 times while we waited, they just told us it was coming. In the end we had to leave. They didn’t even offer a refund. It’s totally unacceptable.
