Macarons are a favorite food of mine. I’ve tried many macarons from many places. Those other macarons do not hold a candle to Lady Yum’s. Their macarons are actually on my top 10 list of favorite foods of all time. They make my soul happy. My husband picks me up some every time he travels to Seattle and although I miss him when he travels…I’m also kinda happy when he goes because he gets me treats from there.

I really wanted something sweet, and Lady Yum was a few blocks from my hotel. These macarons were AMAZING! Special shout out for the Raspberry Chardonnay and Peach flavored macarons.

Don’t walk by!! Stop in and taste these melt-in-your-mouth delights. You will be so glad you did! The names of the delicacies are accurately descriptive of the rich flavours. A real treat!

I never quite understood my daughter's passion for Macaron, but then she moved to Kirkland and discovered Lady Yum and bought a box for us to sample. Having been used to rather flat, dry macaron in the past, all over in one bite and never quite delivering the flavours they promised, the offerings from Lady Yum have completely converted me. Beautiful colours, some studded with 'sprinkles', nuts etc and kudos to whoever thinks up the names for the flavours - such as 'unicorn' and 'shindig'. Matt on the outside and, on the inside, light but at the same time chewy and generously filled. They look pretty in the transparent selection boxes, if they stay in the box long enough for you to admire them. Not an inexpensive treat, but 'treat' is definitely what they are - a pure indulgence, and we all deserve one of those every once in a while. Would make a lovely gift too.

I received the Birthday Package, which my boyfriend ordered for me, and OH MY HEAVENS! They arrived in one day after being shipped, so they were still very fresh. The flavor combos are brilliant, and so delicious! The colors are vivid, and are just as appealing as the flavors are! I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I’ve never been to the Kirkland location but stop at the shop in SeaTac airport almost every time I go through. These are very good and my daughter and I love to get the different flavors. My favs are the unicorn and pear, but I’ve never had one I didn’t like. I do wish they weren’t quite so expensive though. I was gonna order and have a box sent to my sister in law but for $60- I’ll have to pass.

There are so many wonderful flavors to choose from. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I tired smores, salted caramel (my favorite), lemon and espresso. The are melt in your mouth delicious. I hope to go back for a few more flavors before I leave town.

I had these at a work party they are beautiful and delicious. Nice and light and not too sweet great flavor. The variety of flavors is amazing, I would definitely recommend trying them if you are in the area and want a treat.

I've had a lot of macarons, but this is the place to which I would return again and again. They're amazing. Sure, it does depend on the specific flavor you order. Once in a while I've tried a flavor I thought was just so-so. So I guess the moral of the story is go ahead and be adventurous -- try a flavor you might not normally order. But then make sure you also order a basic one; one you know you love. My favorite is the oatmeal cookie.
