Le Grand Bistro Americain

The BEST restaurant in the area. The food was amazing, the bartender served the perfect Old Fashioned and the hostess and waitresses were incredible! Very attentive service and delicious food for a reasonable price. If you’re in the Lake Washington area, Le Grand is the place to eat and relax. The patio is a must for fresh air, a beautiful sunset and gazing at the grandiose yachts in the marina. Only in the area for a week but will be visiting for a third time tomorrow. It’s just that great!

We usually go to American Bistro every couple of months, but this time will be our last. The service was bad, and the food was bad. I'm very disappointed.

The waiter was excellent—attentive, friendly, and very careful about accommodating allergies in our group. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell short. We were given the wrong order twice and were overcharged for someone else’s plate. For the price, the food was mediocre at best. The highlight of the visit was the beautiful patio view on a sunny day.

View is good ,but food is soso and terrible
Unfortunately, the oysters were not properly cleaned and had some grit inside. Two of them were also spoiled, which was quite disappointing.

As a Chef it can be disappointing to go out for a special occasion, to not have service or quality to the standard you demand of you own establishment.

I have thoroughly enjoyed every birthday here for the last four years.

If you want great food ,great service and a great view Le Grand Bistro American has it all.

The scenery is fantastic, and the food was decent, but nothing to write home about.
The service, on the other hand, was remarkably slow. We spent a good amount of time just waiting for someone to come to our table. We even ordered bread and butter that never showed up, yet it magically appeared on our bill. I only realized the oversight after we left.
If you have a lot of time to spare and prioritize a good view over prompt service, this is the spot for you.

Party of 7, found plastic in 2/2 of the pasta meals … staff is pretty ehh , look like they’re forced to be there .. steak 1/10 .. bad steak & fries for 42$? but this is just our experience , maybe yours will be better

They changed the menu and the burrata I had, had zero flavor except for orange peel rinds. They changed the fish and that was good either but their oysters were at least. Great cocktails.

Have to give it 5 stars. Maybe it was sitting in the best seats outside overlooking the marina and lake, maybe such a beautiful day…. But our lamb sandwich for lunch was yummy, service was good, and our drinks tasted good too.
