“Oh my God! One of the best Middle Eastern places in Seattle. The chicken saj is my favorite. When you first bite into the chicken saj, it's pretty simple, just tender chicken and bread. But then you take a another bites and taste lettuce and tomato. Then you take a another bite and you taste the garlic sauce. But the real party starts when you are one third of the sandwich. Now you bite and taste the tender juicy chicken, the bread, the pickles (OMG), the garlic sauce, the red sauce, the tomatos, the onions, the juices created by all the above. Then somewhere in there, the you taste the pure mint leaf. And you're like OMG. And it stays all the way till you finish the wrap and you're left with a delicious saucy juicy mess of a paper wrap in your hand. As you toss it in the bin next to the order counter, watch the big grin on your face in the window reflection, wave good bye to the Yalla folks (Taylor and Matt), and relish the experience til next time.“

“Absolutely a hidden gem. It’s hard to find Persian restaurants that have fesenjoon (chicken stewed with walnut and pomegranate molasses) on the menu. It’s often a dish that’s made in the comfort of home. My partner and I got that and the zereskh polo. The chicken was tender and the rice light and fluffy. The baklava was also gently spiced and aromatic, instead of the sometimes all too trite overpoweringly sweet. Will be coming back, especially in the rainy winter!“

“I had the Lamb & Beef Gyro Sauj Wrap, which is kinda of a gyro, burrito, with Mediterranean style veggies. Pretty common for middle eastern restaurants. It was pretty good, but had too much hot sauce on it and the meat could use some more spice. The younger guy was pretty hard to understand and was kind of mumbling which made it more difficult to catch what he was saying. And I don't think he understood when i said "a little hot sauce" because he drenched it, and was almost inedible.“

“my mom & i had one of the BEST MEALS OF OUR LIVES here .
our server was perfect & knowledgeable, & each dish we ordered was delicious, beautiful, fresh.
the restaurant space is lovely & very lively - if anyone in your party is hard of hearing, it might be a good idea to reserve a quieter table when possible.
11/1], i cant wait to come back !“

“Had to check out the falafel and here's my review... I'd like to state up front that as someone who lived in Israel for years and has always been very critical of "hippie" falafel and most Americans attempts which always seem to include lettuce, which has absolutely no place in a falafel, this was as close to an authentic falafel that I have seen in the western states. That being said, I found no reason to go back. Been there, done that. (Although it is a Hummus Bar and I didn't bother to try that because I make extraordinarily good hummus at home.) I've been avoiding bread on my new diet but was intrigued that there was a new source in town for fresh pita, which can make or break a falafel sandwich. I tried to secure an end to taste, (the top section that is cut off to stuff the pita,) the ends are traditionally tossed but my attempt was rebuffed by the staff who claimed they used them so I went ahead and ordered the "stuffed falafel" sandwich. What I got when I ordered the Stuffed Falafel was better than any pita I've ever had in Seattle, but it wasn't up to snuff with a traditional pita. It was too bready and airy for me, but it held together very well, when it was completely full of all the ingredients and sauce. Everything inside was very yummy, a great tahini sauce and tasty falafel balls, though I thought the falafel was a bit under-cooked and soft. The mix of cucumbers, tomatoes & Israeli-style pickles was great but there was none of the expected red or purple cabbage. The waitress claimed that there was cabbage in there but it was white, but I couldn't taste it at, a definite let down. At my favorite falafel shops in Jerusalem and NYC you load your own veges and choose your own sauces and I always go heavy on cabbage & pickles. No problems though, I wolfed it right down... :) I also tried a side order of חצילים and it was good, but nothing to write home about. In conclusion it was the best falafel I ever had in Seattle, but I'm still looking for that completely authentic falafel shop to come around.“

“Best Gyros around, I like that you can taste the meat...it doesn't taste like overly spiced mystery meat like other gyro places have. The hummus is excellent!“

“The food is delicious . Everything is made with pride . It’s all fresh and made in house . Since it’s fresh and made to order , you will have to wait . It is worth it . I highly recommend the Greek french fries , amazing. Also I would not skip the chai tea or baklava, both so good. Friendly family business that appreciates its customers. The only thing I did not like was not their fault . Customers constantly talking loudly on cell phone , incredibly annoying ringers going off from multiple phones, some very loud voices . It’s a tiny place with close tables so hear everything. It has lovely lighting from beautiful lamps and is nicely decorated. I just wish some of the customers more considerate .“

“Just had the doner plate from Mr. Gyros at the street food truck—so good! Full of flavor, fresh, and satisfying. Felt like a little summer trip to the Mediterranean. You can taste the sea, the sun, and all the heart they put into the food.🌯✨“

“The food is ok. Nothing extra ordinary, but its really difficult for me to understand why they add 18% tips by default. Even for group of 4 or just one person for that matter. Price of food really on higher side with minimum quantity. Another thing is you cant split a bill. So on one table they only accept one credit card. This place is not for celebrating with friends for that reason.“

“I'm very excited to add this place to my rotation of takeout spots in the neighborhood. I went Sunday afternoon to pick up a lunch order I'd called in, and in 15 minutes it was all ready for me. The lamb/rice plate comes with a small portion of salad and hummus, but the kind server gave me two pieces of bread, fresh out of the oven, and a free bottle of water due to the hot day! Overall, the restaurant has super lovely service and very tasty food. Inside, it's not fancy but comfortable enough that I'd consider dining in with family. My take on the meal: lamb was very flavorful, though a little more cooked than I usually like; I will not hold it against them. Rice was good, hummus great, salad fine (but useful to stuff in the bread to make a pita pocket). The bread is really excellent, definitely the big star for me: springy, soft, pillowy deliciousness. I'm pretty sure that bread will haunt my dreams, in a good way, until my next visit. Would give a 4.5 if I could.“

“Not only is this authentic Persian cuisine, it’s as good as my Persian friend’s Mom’s food which is hard to beat! They don’t use fillers for the Koobideh (ground beef) and there’s no shortage of saffron on the chicken kabob. I liked the ambience with Persian music and overall it felt a little fancy. The service was polite and efficient and well deserving of the auto gratuity and I added extra because I think 15% is too low. I don’t think people realize how rare authentic, great tasting Persian food is. I feel like their prices are definitely reasonable for what you get. Can’t wait to go back.“
