Servers attitudes were very passive aggressive. They’d ask you to leave restaurants constantly during the meal during closing hours. And deny food safety issues. Servers at this location are rude over my multiple visits.
Food was constantly worse than other locations. The server admitted the food was microwaved. Ingredients ain’t fresh.

Great menu but more importantly for me someone who loves to eat sushi, the prices are the best around which makes it affordable and worth the money spent on quality.

The katsu pork was pretty dry, though they did deliver two pieces which is more than I expected.

Oto Sushi is a standout dining destination that seamlessly combines tradition with innovation. Founded in 2011 by Chef Mike Lin after a decade of perfecting his craft under Japanese sushi masters in San Francisco, Oto offers an unparalleled sushi experience in Kirkland and Redmond. With a commitment to quality and freshness, the menu boasts everything from classic sushi and sashimi to inventive rolls like the Fire Starter Roll, which is an absolute must-try. If you’re lucky enough to visit when the Toro tuna nigiri is in stock, prepare for a melt-in-your-mouth delight that’s pure perfection.

Adding to the magic is Chef Peter Ni, a master chef from Los Angeles, whose artistry elevates every dish. The warm atmosphere, attentive service, and consistently exquisite food make Oto Sushi a true gem. For sushi that rivals the finest in downtown Seattle, Oto is an experience worth savoring—and one you’ll want to return to again and again.

GOOD FOOD, REALLY BAD SERVICE, SMALL PORTIONS.

The food is delicious but overpriced. I used to go regularly and spend $50, but they’ve lost me as a customer. I bought soba noodles to go, and the broth was only half full. When I got home I thought about watering it down since it was basically empty. Broth is so cheap. They refused to provide extra broth at all (even for pay!), and just kept repeating that I would have to order two of the dish. That is ridiculous service. They didn’t even apologize. So they just lost a long time customer and I won’t be recommending them. It’s unfortunate because the food is delicious.

Also chicken teriyaki has a different flavor than typical, so I don’t order it here.

I feel like this place nickel and dimes you and it’s not how I want to be treated.

This is the first restaurant I have found that won't even serve you cutlery or water if you asked for a togo but decided to dine-in! We literally finished our meal in the plastic togo containers with no plates, water cups etc. We have referred many people to this place in the past because of their food but the hospitality by their Kirkland staff had made sure we aren't coming back ever!

Sushi melted deliciously, luxuriously in our mouths -- exceptional preparation. Ordered the nigiri omakase which included ikura, toro, chutoro, otoro, king salmon, yellow tail, sweet spotted shrimp (head fried), several pieces of broiled salmon as well as a roll. it came with me so soup. We ordered some baked mussels and ikura from the Columbia River on the side. Tab came out to $88 for the two of us.

Service was attentive and food was prepared very quickly even though the restaurant was full. parking is plentiful and free.
