I ordered a pina colada pie, Father's Day request from my dad. I picked it up from the Kirkland pie bar truck. I live in the south end and reading reviews, thought the drive would be worth it. Wrong! The crust was over cooked, chewy and borderline burnt. And considering the cost, the pie was small. I was asked if I wanted the pie toppings added or on the side?! Not sure why it wasn't added from the get go?! I was handed the pie in the box, I should have looked before I left. The whip cream was sloppily added and coconut shavings scattered about. Pretty sure the worker knew how bad this pie looked otherwise she would have shown me before boxing it up. Typical customer service from bakeries to show you the goods before packaging. Shari's pies look so much better than this! The filling was good but overall big disappointment!

Amazing pie and excellent bike-friendly customer service! - The employee helped me check the size of the takeout boxes to make sure they'd fit in my bike bag, asked whether I wanted the pie heated up now (no because it would get cold on the way home anyways), whether I wanted ice cream with the apple pie (yes!), and suggested boxing the ice cream separately so it wouldn't melt and make the apple pie soggy (and it did not do either). Both the chicken pot pie and the apple pie were amazing, and the portions were substantial and more than fair for the price.

Great pies. I wish they had individual mini pies rather than pieces but they taste yummy and have a good selection.

Darn delicious sweet pie. You get what you pay for. Friendly service.I had the cookies and cream pie, and it was fantastic. Decadently rich in flavour. Ice cream and whipped cream were super creamy and complimented the pie very nicely.

The Ballard Bumble Berry Crumble is delicious! I love when pies are tart and not overly sweet. Very convenient (and appreciated) to have this truck on the Eastside and not have to trek to Ballard for their tasty pie. P.s where's the Boozy Pecan at?! Is that just a seasonal flavor?

Would have given a 2.5 but couldn't. I had the chicken pot pie. Very disappointing, dry, too many potatoes, needed more chicken, very bland. The included salad was good, and the crust was good. No salt or pepper in lncluded. The filling was almost mush. Very little texture except for the chicken. They need to revisit this recipe and do some severe tweaking. I'm from the south and was raised on this type of comfort food. I blew my diet to get this chicken pot pie. The chicken pot pie in a word not worth the 12 dollars. Now as to the Cubano pie don't know. They could use some poultry seasonings, fresh herbs only, a sauce thcat isn't quite so thick and viscous. I believe that I could make a keto freindly pot pie with a ton more flavor. In fact I'll let ya know. Later y'all.

Just tried the Pie Bar truck for the first time. Loved the apple pie! Perfectly spiced and baked, mile high with delicious crumble toppling and creamy vanilla ice cream. So yummy! Will be trying more flavors for sure.

Awesome spot for a quick slice of sweet or savory pie you can then eat outside by walking across the street at the waterfront park. Pies baked fresh daily
