Nice little eatery draped with the flag of Malaysia. The food is good with a little inventiveness to create special laksa and fried rice dishes. We had the special laksa (with seafood and Berkshire pork belly slices) and the fried rice (also with Berkshire pork belly slices). You can tell what I like from my food reviews! ? The Teh Tarik is not as good as Malay Satay Hut's. Otherwise, the food is unique and definitely worth revisiting.Parking: The parking for the building is insufficient any time of the day. Park across the street at the city's public parking underground garage for free. Short walk.

A nice low key joint for Malaysian/Singaporean food! Tried Nasi Lemak with chicken and potato curry (came with salad, sambal, dried fish and peanuts) and it did not disappoint :) The roti canai is scrumptious

Price is much higher than we thought but taste is much better/correct than other Malaysian one that we have tried elsewhere in the greater Seattle area. There are not much options nearby but this one is pretty good. Much different than the one I tried in Taiwan but still pretty good. Will come back. If you are looking for hainanese chicken rice (only on Saturday), this place by far the best one I had in Seattle area. The curry chicken and roti is pretty good as well. Chicken is pretty juicy inside. Nice addition of sides of things.

Grady Malaysian cuisine. Full of flavor moderately priced.Parking: It has a very small parking lot that even at night it can be difficult to find a spot to park at.

My husband said this is the best laksa he's had in 20 years, and is comparable to that he's tried in Malaysia and Singapore. This will be a new place on our regular rotation. He said the duck was slightly better than the seafood, but both were beautiful. A buttery rich coconut broth. My 11-year-old loved hers as well. And a bonus for the fact that there's actual parking at the restaurant, so no driving around to look for a space.

During my visit, I encountered a couple of aspects that I believe could be improved for a better overall experience. Firstly, customers are required to order at the front desk, and the suggested tip of 15% seemed a bit high, especially considering the prices of the food. When a 15% tip is suggested, customers generally anticipate a certain level of service, such as water being provided. Unfortunately, I found no water service during my visit, and there was an unexpected extra charge of $1 for a Kirkland bottled water, which I felt was not in line with the suggested tip. with the dining setup being self-service, it might be beneficial for the management to reconsider and possibly update the suggested tip to better align with the services provided. 10% makes sense better

Ordered lunch to go. Food was tasty and brought me back to taste of home, but the quantity was quite little for the price per item. I will probably come again, but not often because of the pricing.

Enjoyed our meal ! Came for a small bday celebration dinner and was greeted and served quite quickly . It wasn't busy when we went there but the food options for vegetarians is not accompanied other than tofu which you have to ask for the option . I hope they offer more variety In future . The food was decent and service was good .

Saw this on instagram, went to try it out. It feels less of a restaurant, but more of a food stall with some seating - you order up at the front and receive a number. The food was good and flavourful, but I think the environment took away from the experience. Everything was served on one-time-use plates, and they didn’t even have water to give us - you only have the option to buy bottled water.I also think it’s a bit expensive (20+$ for not a lot of food)

Similarly to a recent review left on their Yelp page, I'm giving a four star review because of the price of our meal. Malaysian food in Malaysia is really cheap. Now, I understand it's unreasonable to expect those kinds of under $10/meal prices in the US now with inflation rates being so high and cost-of-living also being much higher, but I just can't let go of the fact that this kind of cuisine is just sooo much cheaper elsewhere in the world. *crying emoji* I really enjoyed their rendang's flavor, but the beef was indeed, not as tender as I would've liked. The laksa also, was well seasoned, but the size made it difficult for the four of us, who ordered family-style, to get a sufficient sample of the dish. I would not recommend the roti - it was really really greasy and literally left an oily spot when you lifted it off the paper plate. If you're pining away for Malaysian food, this is a sufficient substitute, but of course, can't compare to a meal of rendang + roti + laksa eaten in the sweltering hot humidity of Malaysia..

This place had me reminiscing HARD about the flavors and COST of Malaysian food. The docking of the one star is really around the price. All I have to say here is that money in America just can't get you the same amount of food as you would get in Asia... The amount paid for this meal would have been more than enough to provide a full on feast in Malaysia...Anyways, to the environment. I did enjoy their attempt at recreating a "hawker" style atmosphere. Although DEFINITELY much cleaner than any hawker stall I have been to in Malaysia, the seating situation and the utensil setup definitely reminded me of Malaysia. And the food. Although it definitely was not, quantity wise, as much as we would have gotten in Malaysia, the food was pretty decent. We got their Mee Goreng, Nyonya Seafood Laksa, and National Plate (basically Nasi Lemak with rendang, ayam and roti canai). We split this across four people, and I would say that it was a decent amount of food. I really enjoyed their Mee Goreng. It could have been spicier but as they are trying to cater to Westerners as well, I can understand why they did not make it more spicy. The ayam in the Nasi Lemak was also fairly good. The beef that they used for the rendang was slightly too chewy. Their Laksa portion was definitely a little small, but they did provide ample toppings to compensate. This meal was a good reminder of one of my favorite cuisines, and cheaper than the $1000+ cost for a plane ticket to Malaysia.
