Love their food and they make my husband's favorite pizzas!
The food is definitely overpriced. We paid about $60 for just two small pies (no drinks). Not the best tasting pizza either.

Serious Pie at Totem Lake (Kirkland) is an artisanal pizzeria by Tom Douglas, featuring wood-fired, thin-crust pizzas and a creative range of starters, salads, and sweets.
During my recent lunch visit, the initial service was slow, it took about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged our arrival. While the staff became attentive once we were seated, the hygiene standards could use improvement. I noticed some crew members preparing pizzas without wearing gloves, and one of the plates we received had gum stuck to it, which I’m sure was unintentional.
Our Fresh Mozzarella Pizza and Mushroom Pizza were delicious, with a perfectly cooked crust. The wood-fired oven adds a rustic depth to the flavor, and the toppings are thoughtfully balanced. The cheese pizza was Ok, though it leaned a bit salty for our taste.
The Roman Artichoke and Kale salads were another highlight, fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor, making them more than just a side dish.
Other local favorites include Yukon Gold Potato, Fennel Sausage pizzas, and the Biscuit Brunch.

Let me start by saying I am a huge Tom Douglas fan. Lola is still my favorite restaurant in the world. We love the Carlyle Room and have been going to eat there since Dahlia was in its original spot. All that said, this experience at Serious Pie Totem Lake was a huge disappointment. The only good thing I had was the kale salad (always a winner) and the Amaro Negroni. The pizza was the biggest downer. The crust is just too thin. You had to eat it with a knife and fork until you got to the last inch. You should be able to hold a piece of pizza while you eat it. And I used to get full on a Serious Pie, but not now. Two of us shared our favorite, and even with the kale salad, I left hungry. That said, the service was also way below par. We had three different servers, and when we ordered, we specifically asked that our pizza be held until we finished our salads. Nope, they all came at the same time, within 2 minutes of getting our drinks. By the time we finished our salads and sipped our drinks, the pizza was anything but hot. This was really sad. Not at all what I expected at a Tom Douglas joint. Tom, please cross the lake and attend to business.
Fire 🔥 literally . The pizza is so crisp and the service was great! The restaurant was clean and restrooms were clean. We ate here on repeat on our last Seattle trip.
Side note, no GLuten free options. Only salad.

Having had a fabulous brunch previously, we decided to try their pizza. It was sub par. Too gloppy and runny and impossible to pick up. Taste was average- too much tomato sauce for my liking. Our waiter was great and the ambience very nice. Will return for brunch, not lunch.
Over priced food and poor service. The food was over priced. We each paid $25 for a small pizza with sauce. Our drinks where forgotten and not brought to the table until the food was brought out and we reminded the server we had ordered drinks. We will not return.

Great pizza with a crispy crust, paired with a soft and chewy interior. The savory toppings are also full of umami.

So happy to find this place after Serious Biscuit closed in Seattle! We were craving their fried chicken, biscuit and gravy (the Zach) and it was just as we remembered it.

Good place for artisan pizzas. The daily special pizza had too many flavors going on but all the pizzas had nice crispy bottoms and ingredients. I would just choose which pizza to order carefully.

Serious pie given it's supposed to be a Progressive upscale pizza place, unlike Domino's for example, surprisingly has very few options. For today's world, offering a gluten-free crust and vegan cheese is really mandatory. I was very disappointed that they were so limited and that the waiter exclaimed more than one time “we don't like to do any kind of substitutions”. It's time for Serious pie to evolve.
Asked for a table outside when I did my reservation. We arrived and were told we could not get a table outside, it wanted to be available, I asked if they could put two tables together and was told no. The host was not very courteous.
