Visited Shake Shack in Kirkland today and really enjoyed the overall experience. It’s in a great area that’s perfect for families. There’s even a small fountain nearby where kids were splashing around and having fun on this sunny afternoon. The interior of the restaurant was spotless, which made the meal feel that much more enjoyable. Parking was a bit confusing, especially for a first-time visitor using Apple Maps from the suburbs. Excellent burgers. The shake was pretty standard and the custard was a letdown — it was pretty much like a Wendy’s Frosty. That said, the black truffle loaded with everything is one of the best fast burgers around.
