Before COVID this was a reliable place to get good barbecue (and related items), and had a good selection of beer and whiskey. It closed for a while, and when it came back the food did not. We were delighted to return for dinner, only to find hat the beans tasted like barely doctored canned pork and beans; the barbecue pork shoulder was tasteless, and the sandwiches ($15 for a plain pork barbecue sandwich) barely had any meat in them. The french fries were good, but not good enough to entice us to return.

My friends and I showed up to enjoy some of the barbecue and other food that was listed online at this establishment website. Once we arrived to the saloon, we were very disappointment to learn that none of the food we wanted, such as ( shrimp & grits, brisket, cornbread, bbq ribs, ect. ) that was listed online @ there website was not available. Very disappointing as we have been trying to visit this saloon for their food for months. Hopefully the menu is updated, the website still indicates kids welcome which is not the case, and hopefully the menu is updated to what food is currently being served and available.

This place used to be great. I haven't been since they re-opened, but I wish them success. I definitely will miss their old menu with delicious BBQ and a great whiskey selection.

So glad that "Nate" the general manager was forced to leave on bad terms. The current employees and some customers think you were a real jackass. You bad mouthed the owner and should stay out of the Eastside. Don't be such a jerkoff with your new Lariat Bar customers in White Center. Your co-owners will soon learn what a weasel you are. I wish you nothing but bad fortune and trouble in the future. Bad Carma Nate. What goes around comes back to you.....

Had a great time last night with a bunch of friends and the lady named "Kiki" danced with us and made the experience a hundred more times fun. Keep her around we will be back again

Waitress #1 takes your debit card before your order and puts it in file, we continue the evening with appetizers beverages and food. When we ask for the final bill waitress #2 ask us for payment. We say to her you have the debit card. Waitress #2 can't find the the debit card we give to waitress #1. Waitress #1 said she had to go to work at another establishment downtown. We ask waitress #2 that debit card is within the premises. Waitress #2 finally locates debit card. Long story short.....no tip for waitress #1 or waitress #2

Hidden GEM in Kirkland/ Eastside for BBQ! My husband & I came in on a Sunday nite for a wknd cheat meal & we were definitely blown away at how amazing the food was & how generous the portions were for the price! We ordered the ribs- MEAT LITERALLY FELL OFF THE BONE CLEAN, The Cubano- was melted, toasted & roasted pork perfection, & the bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers were HUGE! Perfect place to catch the SNF game- lots of TVs all over the bar/ restaurant & one giant big screen. Bar tender Eric & chef were super friendly & attentive! We will definitely be back to catch another game & to take advantage of the pool tables & bar games soon! So glad we finally decided to give this place a try & that it's so close to home!

Finally tried this place after hearing it had closed down due to COVID-19. The bartender said they've been open for 2 months, so relatively new reopening. We were bummed to hear the chef had called out sick and they had a very limited menu. Sounds like the regular chef didn't have much left prepared so the poor team was scrambling to provide food for guests. Luckily we were able to get burgers and they were great. The back up chef and the bartender were very accommodating and did the best they could with what they had. I would definitely come back to try the BBQ. We were informed that the menu was going to change to more pub-like fare but will still hame some traditional BBQ items. Hopefully when we come back the chef will be in and we can try the tri-tip! Totally laid back place to stop by and have a beer after work. Their happy hour menu looked good too. While we were there we also heard they were out of Tito's vodka and Bhodizafa. I guess they were just running low on a lot of things during our visit lol. Hope we have better luck next time.

This little spot will go down in lore as where my girlfriend and I had our first date after nearly a decade of talking online and not-quite meetups. This LA boy met his Forest Grove, Oregon girl while on business in Seattle. After some getting-to-know-you time it was late and we were hungry and thirsty and came here. We were there the evening of September 10th. The place was in soft re-open. It did not disappoint. Our hosts, Mike and Christy I believe (I'll verify that with you guys!) are a married couple who moved here from Florida. They kept our cups full and the music flowing all evening, handled a drunk and delusional guy with the help of Kirkland's finest, and served up one of the best Brisket sandwiches I have ever had with this amazing sauce that was somehow spicy and savory at the same time. Great on-tap beer selection. Great menu. Great ambiance. I'll be back in town in about a week on business. I'm staying in Kent this time but I have to venture back up to Kirkland to say hello and have another bite and another round! These guys have an overall five, and they're invited to the wedding when it eventually happens. If you're looking for good food, good drinks and to make good friends, and you happen to be in Kirkland, THIS is the spot!

Well, once again, the Yelp reviews were right. Tried this place for dinner and was NOT disappointed. Yum! This restaurant is still in its "soft" opening phase, but they got 99% of everything right. I felt welcome from the moment I walked in, to when I walked out. Everything I ate was DELICIOUS. If you drop in here, have the roasted carrots. Seriously, they are AMAZING! Everything I tried was really good - brisket, pulled pork, hush puppies, roasted carrots... The pulled pork came dressed with their "Sweet" BBQ sauce, and it was delicious.
