We usually go to the alki location, however we thought we would try this location since it is significantly closer to our house. Overall when you compare it to spuds on alki, there is no comparison. The fish was smaller, we got less fries, the tartar sauce was totally different from other locations. And you didn't even have the signature "special" that we always get at spuds. Normally when we leave there is food left over because we are soooo full. But today we finished our meal and could have easily eaten more. For 2 orders of a 3 peice cod, a few tartar sauce, and 2 sodas, total came to almost 60 bucks. Definitely worth the extra time and gas going to the true spuds on alki.

Got halibut and chips with a cup of chowder and tartar sauce.
The fish was hot and crispy, but the breading had absolutely no seasoning whatsoever. The tartar sauce was not house made, was too vinegary and overpowered the taste of the bland fish. The chowder was not house made either, and tasted like Skippers chowder. It was expensive for the quality of the food, too. Not at all impressed.

Terrible staff.
I spoke with a customer who asked me to get an extra sauce from you because they couldn’t order it through the app. I went in and showed the conversation to your employee. Moreover, I still waited while you prepared the order. So, there’s no fault on my part since I was communicating with the person who ordered food from you. I’m doing my job, and you’re doing yours. If you don’t have all the information, don’t jump to conclusions.

One order Fish and chips, 1 cup of chowder and a pop, $42. it's no wonder the place was completely empty at 12:30 PM. These prices are out of control. food is good but not $42 for fast food good!

We ordered the cod and chips, mushrooms, onion rings, and oysters. Each was more amazing than the last. The cod is easily the best I've had in the US, far better than the big local fish and chip chain. The fish was plump and juicy and the breading was thin and crispy. The mushrooms were the other star. They were very clearly fresh mushrooms that were breaded and fried, because they tasted fresh and weren't filled with juice.
The service was also fantastic and the staff genuinely wanted to know if we liked everything.
100% recommended!

Food quality was no bueno. I'd put it at below "military-kitchen," that's how bad. Service was just as off, got a text that my online order was ready. Showed up late for it but instead of grab-n-go, they still had to make it?? Then they give me the wrong order, which made me wonder if it was ready and they're just so damn disorganized. Understaffed employees running on fumes is one thing, so I'll put this on the management. This place sucks. Don't let it ruin the Seattle locations though! They're better run. As for the Eastside, I'll stick to Ivar's further south.

What could be better than a 3-piece cod and chips on a glorious sunny October afternoon, with beautiful Juanita beach across the street? I’ll wait…

Super friendly staff and deliciously prepared seafood. They have a few locations but this one feels like a local and mom and pops shop. Don't miss out of the fish tacos and fried prawns.

People suggesting it might be a bit pricey, but the size of their fillets dwarf most every other place and the quality is first rate!

Friendly employees but the food is trash. Literally worst fish and chips in the Greater Seattle area. Dry, overcooked and tasteless, maybe they are going for a British vibe?? Clean restrooms are a saving grace. Overpriced for what it is, capitalizing on location and beach goers.

Omg this place is incredible, the staff was great and my family felt very welcomed here. The clam chowder was very good. I also got their chicken burger and the flavor was very unique, sweet and savory at the same time.
The 3 piece fish and chips was very fulfilling, each piece was huge

This place is outstanding. It made me miss working in food as well- just a rad location, lots of people-watching, classic imagery around. Great logo! The fish was served hot, tasted great and I recommend mushrooms.
