Starbucks Totem Lake
What was already good just got even better!
I visited the Starbucks at Totem Lake today, a place I often choose to meet with friends and clients. The service is always impeccable, but today I was pleasantly surprised.
For in-store consumption, we were served with glass cups, porcelain mugs, and plates, which made the experience even more enjoyable. In addition to reducing the use of disposable items, this change made the environment feel more welcoming, cozy, and comfortable.
Small details truly make a big difference.

This is quite possibly the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. 15 minutes wait in drive through for a triple shot of espresso is absolutely ridiculous. I quite literally almost lost my freaking marbles waiting that long for a coffee. By the time I got my coffee, I could've started collecting social security! And the cherry on top was that my coffee tasted like a premium dishwater roast.

Just had an unpleasant drive through experience yesterday . It was the first time that I encountered a Starbucks barista without saying hi, no smile, not even a thank you after she gave me the drinks. She didn’t say anything to me! It’s just rare to see an unfriendly Starbucks staff with no manner. I’m glad that they have Starbucks drive through here but too bad their matcha is also not that special. I left with a feeling regret of spending my money there for an unpleasant experience and a meh kind of drink

So I used a mobile order walked in the store took literally 3 minutes grabbing the one thing I needed and then I sat in the sitting area and weighted the lady working made somebody else's coffee before mine who just walked up and ordered it and then proceeded to make mine it was supposed to be like a caramel frappe thing and it literally is like just a glass of milk with large chunks of ice and like some caramel syrup in it and then I see order ready on my phone so I stand up and take the three steps to the counter to grab it and she's trying to give it away to a co-worker or something didn't even call up the order nothing I mean a little ridiculous I think

Not all Starbucks are alike. I tried this store today and it was the best. The reason for that was Mark who asked the right questions to make me the best cup of coffee that I needed. I am used to stand inline to place the order but this is the first time I was actually asked questions so it get what I want. Thank you Mark and the company should promote you to management to train other employees. There is a difference between order taking and professional service. Starbucks can benefit from Mark.
