I live in Seattle, not Kirkland, so I expected to find a Sbux that felt like a licenced store, but was extremely pleased to be greeted by a delightful barista. All the baristas were chatting happily and getting orders done quickly. Very friendly barista at the counter had a smile that could light up a room and it wasn’t fake, she was genuinely friendly to everyone. She asked me about my coffee, which sounds stupid, but when was the last time a sbux barista talked to you about...
I really like coming here! The staff are always friendly and efficient, and even in busy times they get drinks out in a reasonable time. Special thanks to Alice, a fantastic barista!

However, the staff wasn’t very friendly. I was holding a Starbucks cup and asked for the bathroom code. Even though I had previously ordered a drink there and was just going to rinse my cup before refilling, the staff assumed I hadn’t made a purchase and refused to provide the code. But I was holding the Sbux cup!
I explained the situation...
