We had a great lunch at their taco truck a couple years ago, so decided to give their restaurant a try. After each of four visits we thought that the restaurant was a disappointment and that we were never going again, but kept wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt. After today's visit I think we're done. We drove out of our way to the restaurant and they were randomly closed at lunchtime with no signage or any other indications of what was going on. The space is cavernous and not utilized well. The service has been markedly underwhelming, especially given that we have often been the only party there. The food in the restaurant is inferior to that of the simple burrito from their taco truck. They now also have a "needs improvement" warning sign from the health department. Given other health-related comments from other diners, this seems concerning. We really want to like their restaurant, but we've given them more than enough tries. I hope they are able to straighten out their issues, but it's been a while now.

So good! A great price for a large amount of food. Definitely recommend their beef burritos and carnitas tacos! Will definitely be returning.

My husband and I had eaten here a couple of times, and were actually really happy. When it came time to book our caterer for our wedding, we decided to go with them because they were super close to our venue, quick to respond and very easy to book! I was very pleased!Big mistake.Fast forward to our wedding. We’re in the middle of taking pictures and I find out they aren’t there yet. I had confirmed that they would be arriving by 2pm, and it was 2:30. I had many amazing people jump in and start resolving. No one at the restaurant seemed to know where any of the trucks were. They finally arrived around 3:30, did one run around and had left by 4:30. No discount, some of my guests wanted more food (because the serving sizes were quite small) but they were told no. So upsetting.Fast forward even more and the news article comes out about the food-born illness that broke out from one of their trucks. Several of my guests called me and were furious, as they had kids that could have been sick. I’ve worked in food service many years and know the dangers of what can happen with poor food handling. I had children, elderly and immune-compromised guests. I find myself so fortunate that no one got sick at my wedding, but it’s safe to say I will never step foot in this place ever again.

Wish I could give 0 star. They obviously never corrected their health violations. Only a week ago. We came here without knowing they have previously made people sick and I ended up getting Ecoli. I reported them to the department of health, since it is a reportable illness. I hope they get shut down. They don't seem to care about health or safety.

Absolutely terrible. The margaritas were unmixed with only syrup and no discernible liquor. The food was cold with little flavor. The best part was the waitress was nice. But I do not recommend going here or eating at their food trucks.

I really wanted to like this place, it's walking distance from my house. Would be great to have a taco and a beer and watch the game. We've tried it twice once when they first opened and again this summer. Food was not good either time.

Do yourself a favor and check the king county department of health. Many violations and the latest event got 34 people sick at IHS.

Yikes. I work near here and have thought about stopping in for lunch. Hope they fix their issues, but avoid for now.

How hard is it to wash your hands after taking a dump prior to making food for customers?? Or keeping foods properly refrigerated. Another reason why it so important to hire employees who actually care. Wake up owners! Kepaso jefe?

Hopefully the correct these violations. kiro7.com/news/local/pub…

My husband and I went in to eat here for lunch, we were the first ones in the door but waited over a half and hour for our food. Other people recieved their food before us. When we got our food, it was very bland. The eggs didn't have any salsa, old beans. Huevos estrellados (eggs with beans). Our other plate had un cooked meat even after having it cooked the second time andgave us only 2 cold tortillas for both our meals. She even said that the steak is usually cooked meduim rare but in most restaurants the server asks what they want or fully cooks the meat. For the server she keep say how short staffed they were and their cook is new, which is fine but I didnt go there for her to complain to me. Im on my luch break to have a relaxing meal. I could hear her yelling at the cook to hurry up in the back. Complaining that he doesnt speak english and she doesnt know spanish. Im sorry but maybe if they hired a server that could speak some spanish the comunication would be better( it is a mexican restaurant). I felt sorry for the cook. If he isnt experienced they should have paired him with another cook.My husband didnt say anything and left with no fuss. I dont write reviews but this was the worst restaurant we have been to.Well I wish I read the reviews before hand.

They have a sign out front saying theyre open for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. And while they have breakfast items like chilaquiles on their menu, they dont open until 11 (which I only found out after I successfully l submitted an order at 1030AM, and then searched their website as the door wasn't open and they didn't have hours posted anywhere on the storefront). I was excited nonetheless for my order of a squash burrito and horchata. So I left and came back as I had picked up frozen items at QFC nearby and needed to get them into a freezer before my food would be done 15-20 minutes after they opened. The original quote for time was for 15-20 minutes after the order, and I got a confirmation that the order had been accepted at 11:10.The woman working the cash register was nice and friendly. She mentioned they don't do whole wheat tortillas in response to my request for a flour tortilla in the special instructions. There were a few things I was a let down by, namely that the horchata machine was broken (the woman helping me offered a jarritos or other drink instead, so I was able to grab a sidral mundet), and when I got home the burrito I had been given just the vegetarian burrito which was a bummer. I was really looking forward to "A whole wheat tortilla filled with sautéed Mexican squash, corn, and pico de gallo. Topped with green tomatillo sauce, melted jack, and sour cream." Instead, I ended up with a "Flour tortilla filled with beans, rice, onion, cilantro, lettuce, cheese, sour cream and sauce."Just sort of disappointed by the whole thing. The only reason this review is 2 stars instead of just 1 is purely due to the nice woman who helped me.

This taco truck was hired for my daughters wedding. They were a no show for over an hour!!! After numerous frantic phone calls they finally arrived saying they double booked!! Really? Kind of an important event people!! After looking at the other reviews I suppose I should be happy they showed up at all as apparently this is not unusual for them. As if that wasn't bad enough they were a little on the rude side and the food was very bland and tasteless. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU CARE ABOUT RELIABILITY, SERVICE AND GOOD FOOD.

Very good food! Service a tad bit slow, but other than that I loved it! The burritos really filled me up?
