The Box & Burgers Eatery

I love this restaurant, but was so disappointed with my last order. I love their chopped salad, used to get it all the time when they were at Black Raven in Kirkland.

however, this week, the salad was nothing but lettuce! I could’ve made four salads with the amount of lettuce that they put in. Basically that’s all it was! lettuce, lettuce and more lettuce, Very very little of the apples, ham, cheese, etc., that they put in. 😔

Been a fan since the food truck came around my office park in DT Bellevue.

The Eatery is tucked in a little spot located in a strip mall off NE 124th. Parking is free in the lot, the wait for food is not typically long but definitely made fresh. Prices match the quality and portion size - ex. A bowl includes a protein like fried chicken karaage, rice and a good sized side of their chop chop salad (which is a stacked salad).

Also the fries! Slather me in that yuzu aioli!

Had the Hilo Boy burger and it was unbelievably tasty. The buns tasted fresh and there was a lot of flavor in the burger itself not just toppings. Also great service. A little pricy for a burger but worth it on occasion.

This place is worth it!!! They had my company’s favorite food truck pre-pandemic where everyone marked their calendars and raced out when they arrived. It’s all the same people working at the storefront now! They are all so nice, very easy to do substitutions. The fries with yuzu aioli are top tier. I always get the kalbi and steal some bites of Hawaiian chicken from my husband. Cannot recommend highly enough!

First time here had the karage and a French blues burger.

Burger, had layers of flavor and the texture was on point. By far one of the best burgers, the hubby has had all year.

The Karage, was perfectly crunchy and juicy the sauce was tasty big portions of rice and the side salad is amazing. I will say that I wasn't expecting the salad to have meat and cheese in it. I could've done without that but the texture and flavors were delicious!

This place is a cool idea but certainly doesn’t warrant a 4.7 simply because the food was so basic and poorly executed. We had a wide selection of menu items including the salad, fried chicken, burger and both bao. All of the food was ridiculously sweet while the buns were completely inedible. The burger was fine. The service is all done at the counter. When there are so many great Asian restaurants in the area this should not be the place you eat.

Such a comforting meal at this cozy Korean restaurant. Hard to believe we’d never found it before, even though we live so close! Maybe the name made it harder to notice—even though I love Korean food! We’ll definitely be back; it’s officially a go-to spot now for me. (My personal suggestion: maybe rename it to K-Box 🇰🇷)”
