Honestly for $14 per slice of carrot cake I expect the best dang carrot cake I’ve ever had. It was not lol. The $10/slice honey cake was made of layers of dry pancake between cream, overly sweet and chalky mouthfeel. Quite disappointing, and the ambience was oddly quiet and awkward.
Been working in the area for about 6 months yet and still making my way around Kirkland. Found this bakery and I’M IN LOVE! They have great friendly service and the atmosphere was very nice. Very clean and chill music playing in the background. They have a a WIDE variety of beverages, sandwiches, and baked goods (ALL BAKED IN HOUSE). i ordered an iced drink with oat milk this morning and had to repeat my order multiple times to the guy taking my order. I caught the barista starting to steam the milk so I went up to check with her that she knew it was iced and she didn't. At that point I started watching closely and I saw a gallon milk jug with red labels poured into my cup. when she gave me my drink, I asked her again if it was made with oat milk and she said yes. my stomach did not agree with that statement....
