Turkish fare, doner, pide, reasonable prices, great staff, good but not great food. Update: Brought doner and rice home for the next day, fantastic, tasty, lots of meat, raised rating to 5 stars.

Awesome Turkish food and very authentic! I lived in Turkey for 3.5 years back in the late 80s, early 90s when I was stationed there with the Air Force on two different occasions in two different locations.

Honestly, the best lahmacun I’ve ever had in the USA! 😍 So thin, crispy, and full of flavor — everything tasted super fresh. Can’t wait to come back to Koza Cafe and try their pides (Turkish flatbread) next time! 🤌

Came around with my family of 5, ordered 2 iskender kebab, 1 döner sandwich, 1 beyti kebab, 1 köfte plate, check came around 120$~ ish.
First and foremost, the food. It was absolutely amazing, it was really fresh and had ACTUAL authentic turkish food
The place was had a relaxing atmosphere with great music
Service was fast and bathrooms were clean
All dishes were under 25$ and portions were big, to top it all of, each dish came with its own small side whether it'd be fresh salads or crispy fries. I don't think it gets better than that
My only complaint is that its koftes were unexpectedly small and plate felt like it overcompensated with its salad
Overall 9/10 experience. Will definitely comeback and hope whoever reads this also give it a try.

Came here after a long walk on a nice sunny day, and loved our Turkish tea with Veggie Cheese Pide. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

Had a nice dinner here and really enjoyed it. Despite the quiet location there were a ton of people coming in for a quick bite. It was a really popular spot and clearly authentic.
Had the doner plate with fries subbed for the pilaf. This is one of the restaurants I wish gluten liked me because it looked very good. The doner was piled generously and had good flavor. The salad was surprisingly excellent, I’m not usually a salad guy. My dining companion also had doner but the wrap and enjoyed it. He also had a flatbread and enjoyed it.
Had the Turkish coffee and the tea. The coffee came with a Turkish delight/lokum. Had the tea with the goat milk ice cream which was so creamy.
They were happy to help me substitute some gluten free options. I want to go back and try their soups.
The staff was kind and helpful

Nice and friendly staff. Delicious food. Everything we ordered was delicious. We really liked the muhamara.
Unfortunately we can't eat eggs and their breads have eggs in them. It would be amazing if they could make the bread without eggs to allow more people to enjoy their dishes.

I have been a customer of your café for over three years and have always appreciated the quality of service. Unfortunately, my recent experiences with an employee named Larcez have been very negative.
The coffee is poorly made, the milk is not properly steamed, and during service the drink was spilled on the table without any apology.
If he doesn't like working with people, let him quit and not suffer
I hope management will address this issue.

Restaurantji Recommends
The food in the place is good, fresh and a great balanced taste. For example, the kebab sandwhich is almost a greek gyro like in composition rather than a pits kebab.
However, they have a tendency to overcharge. Now twice we have come to eat with the family and wanted to order “rice and some meat” for our little one. The restaurant charges for this a 20usd dish where as adult dishes are 15-20 bucks. I do not quite understand this behavior.

We tried two dishes—the chicken thigh plate and the veggie flatbread—and both were delicious. The place has a very cozy vibe, which we really enjoyed. To have the best experience, it’s better to avoid peak hours. We also loved their coffee.
