What a hidden gem! One of the best Thai restaurants! Food is super clean and delicious. Love the quiet environment. Been there a couple times and was never disappointed.

This family run restaurant has become my favorite Thai restaurant. There is not a bad dish on the menu, but my absolute favorite is the Phad Prig King: stir friend green beans with your choice of protein mixed in an amazing, flavorful (and spicy if you want it) red sauce.

My family has been dining here for over a decade. Best Thai in town, consistently delicious. The staff has always been very kind and hospitable when we’ve dined in. Tastes just as good when we’ve ordered to-go as well.
The Swimming Rama is my personal favorite, with white rice and extra peanut sauce.

The food was okay, but the service was really disappointing. About 15 minutes after we ordered, I asked when our food would be ready. The waitress said it would take another 15 minutes. I told her we were in a hurry and asked if it would be ready by then , she said she couldn’t promise and even suggested we go somewhere else! I was shocked. A few minutes later, my food came out, which made it even more frustrating they asked me to pay as soon the food came out. We hadn’t even touched the food yet, and she already gave us the to-go box and asked us to pay. I only complained to her once.
I changed my review to 1 star because their response made it sound like I complained a lot and spoke loudly, which was not true. The lady sitting next to us could hear me because it’s a small restaurant, not because I was loud. They also made up a story saying I refused to pay, which is completely false, my friend and I paid for our food.
I’m very disappointed with their response. I eat out often and rarely give 1-star reviews, but in this case, they truly deserve it.

All soy sauce is gluten free, all the ingredients are from Thailand and it tastes that way. Sooo good. We had the Thai Red Curry. Five stars

Tumra Thai – A Hidden Gem in Kirkland
We had the most heartwarming experience at Tumra Thai, a cozy, family-run restaurant in Kirkland that truly embodies the warmth of Thai hospitality. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the owner, a wonderful Thai woman who made us feel like guests in her home.
The food was absolutely authentic, fresh, and bursting with flavor—easily some of the best Thai cuisine we’ve ever had. What truly set Tumra Thai apart was their willingness to customize dishes to our vegan needs without compromising taste. They were the first restaurant to accommodate a no-sugar request in their sauces, which not only showcased their commitment to fresh ingredients but also made the dishes incredibly vibrant and clean in flavor.
Beyond the food, what made this visit unforgettable was the genuine warmth of the owner and staff. They went out of their way to engage with our daughter, keeping her entertained and happy while sharing beautiful stories about Thailand. It felt less like dining out and more like visiting a close friend’s home.
If you’re looking for authentic Thai food with a personal touch, Tumra Thai is an absolute must-visit. This is the kind of experience that stays with you long after the meal is over—we will definitely be back!
