Their Ethiopian pourover was delicious and service was fantastic. Great clarity and body in the cup.Excellent ambiance and decor, and it's in a pretty quiet part of the neighborhood ?

We typically walk here about every other day and sit out with a drink, but recently discovered it's no longer urban coffee lounge and is now visible coffee. Menu of food and drinks looks promising, but have attempted to go 3 times and it was closed every time. There is currently no official website that I could find and this listing says open until 9 pm and Joe's says 6 pm, but we even went at 3:30 pm once and it was closed. I think this place has the potential to be great, but until their menu/hours on Joe's (missing flavors and descriptions of drinks as well) and overall hours of operation are more clear we likely won't go out of our way to come here as often though.

In the same location that was Urban Coffee. Great neighborhood coffee shop.

I was really excited to try this spot because of the really good reviews on Yelp. I ordered online through the Joe app and got an iced vanilla latte, an iced caramel truffle mocha w/ sea salt, a sour cream coffee cake, and lemon oat bar. Both the coffee drinks were on the stronger side and were very bitter. The drink description noted a house made vanilla syrup, so I was excited for that, but I didn't taste any vanilla in the drink. It tasted like a plain latte to me. The caramel truffle mocha also was very bitter and I was expecting a slightly sweeter drink from the description as well. The drink was very chunky with the truffle pieces. This is just a personal preference, but I didn't like the texture of chunky chocolate in an iced coffee. I think this drink would've been better hot. I also wasn't getting any caramel or salty flavor. The coffee cake was tasty. It was a pretty standard coffee cake and I was satisfied with it. The lemon bar on the other hand threw me off. Unfortunately the lemon bar was really soggy and mushy. It didn't taste very lemony and it had a stale taste. Obviously I have no idea whether the bakery items are freshly delivered everyday, but the lemon bar tasted like something that has been sitting open to the air in a fridge for too long (best way I can describe the weird taste I was getting). If I come back, I might try out a hot coffee drink and see if it's better than the iced ones.

Urban is always a lovely place to have great coffee and chill out. This is the sister location of the Juanita Village Urban Coffee Lounge (UCL) and is located away from busier parts of Kirkland but still within driving distance of Totem Lake Mall, Juanita, Rosehill, Kirkland Proper and just off the i405 exit. It's a gem that's busy but never overcrowded. They have lots of indoor and outdoor seating, so it's rare (even preCovid restrictions) not to find a place to sit. There is an extensive range of coffees and teas, sandwiches, croissants, salads, cookies, desserts etc. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and definitely the best baristas in the area. It's worth stopping by and checking it out, even if you're driving by on the i405 freeway and would rather a decent coffee than Starbucks, this is THE top place to visit!

I go here a lot and love the coffee, but I have to be honest every time I go in I don't know if I'll be met with a super friendly staff or a passive aggressive one.... with that being said I don't want to take away the fact that some of the baristas are super kind and helpful and The coffee is great. I just have to be honest about the few times I've gone in and experienced poor customer service.

The coffee here is quite consistent, and the staff are always very welcoming and nice! Location and atmosphere are great as well.

I wanted to pay with cash but they would only accept card, they are contributing to cashless society agenda, the gentleman that served me was willing to give me my coffee for free on this occasion though, thats why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1.

I found this gem due to my chiropractor's office being in the area. I love to stop here before or after to grab coffee & a snack. I love that they have df milk options and vegan pastries! I always look forward to the days I have my appointments so that i can stop by urban. If you're in the area, it's a must!

I always love the coffee here especially the 64 ounce latte that I can pre-order online and pick up in store. However, there seemed to have issues on the website every time. I ordered it this afternoon and went to pick it in person one hour later. The baristas didn't see this order and asked me if I can wait for 30 minutes or come back tomorrow. Meanwhile, I also got 2 iced latte (16 oz) with me so I didn't want them to water down. I requested it to get refunded and they suggested me leave the feedback. Really hope they can fix the issues soon.

Some of the best service you can ask for. And they even make up words for drinks. They will brighten your morning.

One of the best coffee shops in the neighborhood. The Coffee is actually good and the staff is super nice(once I accidentally dropped my coffee, made a mess, instead of scowling they offered me another cup of coffee(for free) and napkins! )

Few things sound better on a cold rainy day than a warm drink and pastry! After some errands, two of us swung by for a quick treat to-go, although it is open for dining in as well. Parking is a little limited with a few spots adjacent to the building and a couple spaces in a private lot, but we luckily found an opening! We entered around 3:30P and walked right up to the counter as there were no other customers in line. I was impressed by their selection of baked goods and sandwiches which are locally sourced. Even this late in the afternoon, their refrigerated case and counter display were still well-stocked with plenty to choose from. We got a raspberry oat bar and a slice of blueberry vanilla bread, then placed our coffee orders. While I don't recall the exact pricing, I do remember that the cost of the pastries seemed somewhat elevated, but the cost of the drinks were average. I chose a decaf Honey Cinnamon Latte which was as comforting as it sounds. The coffee was the perfect strength with warm spicy notes and a subtle sweetness. So good! My companion ordered the Truffle Mocha and found it delicious as well. It had a rich chocolate flavor without being overpowering. Both of us were pleasantly surprised at the sweetness levels of our drinks which were well-balanced and allowed us to appreciate the true taste of the coffee itself. As for our pastries, I really enjoyed the blueberry vanilla bread which was essentially a light cake with bites of berry. The raspberry oat bar was too heavy and sweet for me. I thought the jam would be slightly tart, but it actually tasted quite sugary for my liking. The two baristas were courteous overall and prepared our drinks in a timely manner with care. Even with dine-in available, they still appear to ensure distancing. For example, seating was only open to the far right and far left of the space. I'd definitely return again for another one of their Honey Cinnamon Lattes or a different creative drink from their menu.

This place is very welcoming and cozy. Nice place to catch up with friends. They have outdoor seating, limited indoor seating and to go ordering. They have added little cards that tell you if a seating area has been disinfected after the last customer (red means "needs cleaning"; green means clean). They have a good selection of drinks and food and reasonable prices. I had to remove a star because they consistently make their hot teas extremely hot (like instant burn hot) and no room to add cold water. It takes a long time for it to cool enough to drink. Staff is always friendly, helpful and welcoming!
