Growing up in Koreatown Los Angeles, I'm definitely a snob when it comes to Korean food. Especially fried chicken. This place is really good. Stop in and give them a try. So far we've tried the creamy onion and pa-dak boneless chicken and we love both. Will definitely come back to try all the other flavors.

I was pretty reluctant to try Korean Fried Chicken on the eastside - Kirkland of all places. But when I found out that Yeon's is the same as Third Place in Redmond and Underground Kitchen in Federal Way. I knew it was on!Way to represent as both other locations are my respective favorites for KFC. And the best part? They share virtually the same menu, so my go to is always the half and half chicken with yangyum sauce and cheesy corn, side rice and extra daikon.Albeit it's not the cheapest option to eat alone and you'll get enough food to split between 2 to 4 people and be satisfied after. I've been here during the lunch hour and have yet to see more than 2 other people here so service is super fast and friendly. There isn't much to the decor of the spot so it's simple and a good quiet place to enjoy some great chicken.

This is the only place I can find around here for decent Korean food. They have a nice variety of chicken ( fried, spicy souce, galic honey, padak-greenonion) and also very authentic taste of Jjampong( spicy seafood soup) Odeng soup( fish cake soup), and Mussel soup, just like I had in Korea. And several very good foods that go well with any drink. ( PaJun-seafood greenonion pancake, creamy corn, etc)I hope they have some more street food and veriety of AnJu( food for drink)Anyway, I always recommend this place to anyone who asks me to recommend the place for authentic Korean simple food.

Parking: There are several spots in front of the shops in that street, which is almost full most of the time. But if you are with passengers, there is a small parking lot far from 2nd street that you can send passengers to pick up while you turn your car and wait.

A huge disappointment in Korean chicken!! This is not Korean chicken.Warning: "Terrible Chicken"This establishment is named after chicken, and I'm totally confused by its current rating of over 4 stars. I ordered the half-and-half, it stands out as the worst chicken experience I've had in WA. This has been an incredibly disappointing moment for me.Terrible aspects:- The breading is entirely off.- The sweet and sour sauce is excessively spicy, overpowering any other flavors.- The chicken breading lacks crispiness; it feels like consuming week-old fried breading from the fridge. The chicken was cold, and the breading was disproportionately thick, rendering the chicken meat bland and nearly inedible. Refer to my photos; I did not order this to consume thick, unhealthy breading. To add to the dissatisfaction, even the breading itself tasted awful. If you're seeking thick, soggy, bland breading, this might be the place for you. This chicken restaurant doesn't deserve just 1 star; this chicken deserves 0 stars, or even a negative rating. To compound the unpleasant experience, the pickled radish tasted excessively sour, leading me to discard it after a single bite.To the owner – if you happen to read this, please fix your recipe. Your restaurant has ranked as the worst for chicken in Washington for me. Running a chicken restaurant should not result in such a disastrous experience, and your food is a significant disgrace to Korean chicken when you advertise it as Korean chicken.

Not the best Korean fried chicken there is. The execution is disappointing. The menu is varied but the flavors are simply not there. The dry spices are in blobs and as a result make some pieces too strong and some bland. The sauce covered versions are too salty and sweet at the same time. A disappointment as there are not many alternatives in the area. The ordering system is not the most intuitive and the uninitiated would wonder what to order.

Definitely a must try for the fried chicken, corn cheese, sake and fried dumplings. Went on a Saturday night and it was pretty empty. Service was great and the spot is really cute. They have different flavors for the chicken. I tried the regular and the honey garlic chicken. A level 2 was spicy for me but I’m kind of a wuss.

I ordered the yangnyum fried chicken and it was delicious! Some of the best chicken I’ve had in a while. Warning, it is very spicy if you aren’t used to Korean spice levels. I ordered a level 2 spice which was pretty spicy in my opinion. We asked for a side of kimchi too and they kindly gave it to us.

The chicken was exactly what you want from a wing. Crispy, sauced well, and delicious. We got the dumplings which paired SO well with the dipping sauce. Next time we come, we will be sure to try the other delicious looking offerings. This is exactly what you want from a Korean wing spot!

Food was ready at pickup time. Yangnum chicken was saucy and 1 star spice had a surprising amount of kick. Regular fried chicken was decent - crunchy breading; recommend pairing with a dipping sauce like the ranch. Sweet potato fries were soggy and oily; not good.

The good and the Fair.... Have been going to Lynn's for over 20 years. The first time was 2000 or 2001. The crab cakes are amazing. The sauce was (very) rich and flavorful. My partner's shrimp ravioli with lobster sauce was a big hit. The sauce was also very rich. Keep in mind that having both the crab cakes and ravioli may have been too much for one meal. Not a criticism, just an observation. My partner had the fish of the day (halibut) with a ginger sauce. She's had the halibut before and it's always cooked beautifully. The sauces are have been different on different visits. All were good with no disappointments. I've enjoyed the pork, chicken, rib eye, and on one visit, she offered a venison dish. I decided I don't like venison, but that's different than not being well seasoned. Probably close to 40 meals over the years, and only one that I didn't enjoy (Beef Bourguignon on one visit. Haven't seen it since). I've had one or two meals that were not to my taste, but that is not her fault.

I ordered through Uber eats, and after using $15 promo code, it was almost $60, including tip for a driver. We ordered honey galic & yangnyum. Even though we chose spicy level 1 for yangnyum, it was too spicy for kids.Overall, the taste was good, but the portion was so so.

Finding a good Korean fried chicken place is difficult on the Eastside. Finding one that also serves actual Korean beer is lottery win. Yeon's is a hidden gem, inconspicuously located in Kirkland with traditional Korean street food and contemporary Korean beer. Walking in and seeing the IU soju posters, we knew we going to be alright. The wings are a good portion size for their price. While the naked wings are a bit bland, the sauced wings are not only flavorful, but hold their crispiness. Definitely try their seafood udon, featuring giant pieces of squid, and we found the mussel soup to round out the meal perfectly with its white pepper kick.
