COA mexican eatery & tequileria

I’m from Baja California, so I’m picky about my Mexican food. My wife and I came here, and honestly, I was dreading it she always picks the worst spots. BUT… I was completely wrong this time. I’ve tried a lot of mole, even made my own, and let me tell youthis place has the BEST mole I’ve ever tasted. No joke. It was so good, it almost felt wrong washing it down with water. Whoever’s in the kitchen making that mole? Give them a raise.

What? Craft rum cocktails at a Mexican restaurant? Yes!!! So nice to have semi gormet Mexican food experience with a great ambiance and wonderful service. Not your run of the mill family Mexican restaurant ran by grandpa or an ancient uncle. Its like the hip grandkids took over for the new generation and clearly figured out what the public wants. Not sure if that's the story, but its certainly the vibe of this place. Great food, service, and drinks. Totally hip. My only suggestion...for the love of all things holy, please open up a restaurant in Oak Harbor. We need at least one good restaurant here. COA is worth the drive though!!!!

Wonderful food and drinks

I will go to Mount Vernon in future… Their guacamole was old, as was their white bean dip- I was shocked! I have never had a bad experience at COA before this. Very disappointing. It was definitely time to make some new batches..

Well made fresh salsa and guacamole ? pairs nicely with meals. Enchiladas along with beans/rice is my personal favorite.

Very good atmosphere and wonderful customer service, food is so delicious and music at the background is awesome, great vibe to have a catch up meal with friends here!! 2 mains and 1 entree, dishes are huge which leave not much room on the table, impressive!
