River’s Edge is a fantastic spot in La Push! We stopped by while visiting Olympic National Park, and I’m so glad we did. The steak was excellent, the clam chowder was the best I’ve ever had, and the apple pie fry bread was such a fun (and delicious) surprise. Great portions, friendly service, and a really memorable meal at a Native-owned restaurant - highly recommend!
Excellent food. We got the fry bread green chili burger and a cup of the clam chowder. The clam chowder was really hearty and well flavored. The burger was delicious. The fries that came with the burger were waffle fries and very crispy.
We didn't get the apple ice cream fry bread, but we saw someone else who did and the feeds 2 is an understatement. It was huge, but looked delicious! It would probably feed 3-4 for dessert easily.

As others have said, the food is outstanding and definitely worth the drive if you’re not psyched on food options in Forks. This is the best spot in the area. Massive portions, including a huuuge apple pie on Fry Bread. Thing was insane and two hungry dudes couldn’t even finish it. The smash burger was perfectly cooked, and their beer selection isn’t crazy, but has a couple of good choices. The view is also excellent and the staff were super friendly!
