I was in Lacey, hungry and just wanted chicken. We were near Popeyes’s so I had Ray drive me over there. I still can’t drive because my shoulder is still recovering from surgery.
I was greeted as I walked through the door. I ordered chicken wings and had to go through the process of explaining I wanted the regular, full sized spicy wings, not the wing pieces in flavors I do not like. While I appreciated being offered the other wings, along with the special sale price, they were not the ones I wanted. Once we came to a meeting of the minds, my order was put together and the sale completed.
I really like their chicken and was blown away from the first time I walked through the door and saw how large and perfectly seasoned the wings were. I had not been into a Popeye’s in quite some time. Imagine my surprise to see such tiny wings when I opened the box. It reminded me of a very old Alaska Airlines commercial where the CEO of another airline wanted to serve small pieces of chicken to their passengers and was thrilled to see tiny chickens. The chicken was still very good and tasty like I remembered. I was shocked at how small all 4 of the wings were.
I will go back should I decide I want more of their chicken. I just hope the pieces don’t shrink more. The 4 was on the size. Everything else was very good.

The staff was really helpful. I went in to have my order to go but I didn't know what I wanted so when I asked for the family meal the cashier at the moment told me that instead of having the 8 piece of chicken I should get the 10 piece cuz they had a deal on it that was on the wall but I missed to see it. Ended up paying 5 dollars less and got 2 pieces of chicken more. Talk about service!! I'm definitely going back to the location. Popeyes has the best fried chicken in WA.

This is my first time eating at Popeyes it was okay but it was nothing to write home about. I had chicken tenders which were below average and chicken wings which were not the best I've ever had. Three stars

I ordered a large side of mashed potatoes; the employee rung up a large macaroni and cheese. When I mentioned it, they apologized and changed the item on the screen. When I got home, I had a large macaroni and cheese in my bag.
I'm so tired of fast food orders being wrong. This might not deserve a 2 but it just feels like none of these restaurants are trying while simultaneously charging us double for the same food. Fast food was fun when I was a kid. Now I'm stuck wasting money.
Edit: this mac could almost make up for the lack of taters - the flavor is good, but why is the pasta mush? It has no texture.
