First time here. Not very busy at lunchtime. Ordered teriyaki chicken and brown rice. The chicken had a sweet sauce but didn’t taste like teriyaki. Just sweet. The salad has a mayo dressing that was watery. Service was fine. Since I had to fix my meal at home to make it taste right, I probably won’t go back.
Let me lay it out for you! I live a bit of a distance away in Albuquerque, New Mexico. And still all I can think about is the spicy teriyaki chicken in lacey, WA?! I have actually tried to convince the owners to open a restaurant in the fabulous 505 for about 20 years now! I have literally shipped the salad dressing to myself in a half gallon jug! I can't say enough how amazing this restaurant is. I became familiar with them during my time in the United States Air Force...

My go-to order is the pork teriyaki, and it’s the best I’ve had anywhere in the area. The flavor is always great and consistently the same and it’s cooked just right.
