We hired Brileys for our wedding and the food itself was excellent—many guests complimented the meal and everything on the day was presented beautifully.

Communication leading up to the wedding was inconsistent, though we did meet in person to go over all logistics. One specific promise made was that leftovers would be packaged for us to take home. Since fewer guests attended than planned, we reasonably expected there to be plenty left. At the end of the night, we were told they gave the left overs to someone in the wedding party however no one in our wedding party received any leftovers and our coordinator was told there weren’t any leftovers which left us confused on what happened.

Despite paying thousands of dollars, we never received the food we had been assured would be set aside. Afterward, we attempted multiple times to contact the owner by phone, text, and email, but have received little to no response. This lack of professionalism and accountability is extremely disappointing. Based on the circumstances, it appears the staff may have taken the leftovers for themselves, but will not confirm what in fact happened.

Overall, the food was wonderful, but the communication and post-event handling were not.

Having just finished a weeklong road trip all the way from Southern California this was THE BEST meal of the whole trip!

As a TN born BBQ connoisseur I have often favored the heavy hickory smoke and sweetness of Memphis style. Briley’s uses a lighter and sweeter wood (apple?) while still laying on a solid smoke ring.

Ribs fell off the bone, delicious. The brisket had the right amount of marbeling and strong beef flavor really shine through.

My favorite however, THE SIDES! The hush puppies and crunchy and sweet with a hint of jalepeno. The beans have large pieces of sweet onion and salty bacon. The collards have just a hint of heat and are outstanding (and I have eaten a lot of greens these may be my favorite).

For dessert I recommend the banana pudding (silky smooth with chunks of fresh banana) or the beignets which reminded me of puffed churros (always room for one more of these).

Super family friendly, oversized jenga, cornhole, and a unique and challenging golf ball game (hidden around the corner in the back, don’t miss it!)

Superb. Some of the best BBQ I've had in a long time! And not shy with portions like other BBQ places. This brisket sandwich was piled high and delicious!! Highly recommend! Seasoned beautifully and juicy!

I was a little hesitant because of recent reviews but the food and service were great and we'll definitely be coming back! Their takeout portions were more generous than other nearby places we've tried. The ribs were deliciously smoky, the brunswick stew was tasty, and the collard greens were really nice (not at all overly vinegary like other reviews said). The pulled pork was slightly on the dry side before sauces were added but made a good sandwich and I'm a sauce guy, anyway. And all three sauces (sweet, mild, and spicy) were delicious, as well. I've had a lot of BBQ all over the country and Seattle isn't exactly a hotbed but Brileys is doing a great job of scratching the itch. Looking forward to our next visit!

Yesterday I was in Dunn lumber Renton, I was 2:10 pm. The guy in the front with a long hair screaming and make faces like is late we finish at 2 pm. The other short hair very nice guys, service us food.

I’ve eaten here over 30 times easily the past decade. The past two visits the brisket has been terrible — dry, flavorless, tough, and rubbery that I didn’t even finish it. I write this hoping the owners (awesome guys) make some much-needed changes to the brisket.

Overall the food is good and the staff are tremendous. The brisket quality and consistency has been off (per other’s posts as well).
