Lake Forest Bar and Grill

VERY overpriced for mediocre food and mediocre service. I have no reason to go back!

We stopped in wanted something light but filling. Sandwiches fit the bill. We went with the Chicken Club and I had to try the Elk Burger. Had no guess if it would taste radically different than beef. It didn't and benefits from being more lean. (Something I learned.) The club was fresh and tasty and I enjoyed the gourmet spin of the burger. The sweet potato fries through me at first, but they complimented the burger. The club came with standard fries. Prices were about the norm for today and the server was friendly and attentive. We arrived right around dinner time and they seated us right away, no waiting. A good choice for a tasty meal if your in the neighborhood.

So I have been looking for a place with a nice chill garden patio and I must say this is the place to go I found it heaven right outside of their wonderful lounge lake Forest Bar and Grill has a wonderful patio I waited outside ordered a blackened salmon wrap with amazing potato sweet potato fries and have put this place on my GPS radar as a go to a go back over and over again because I'm excited about the menu.

That was weird. I thought I was replying to a yarn store. That meant I left an incorrect review.

The food is always great. This week we went 3 times. Our only complaint is that earlier this week they made a perfect chocolate martini. Tonight, it was not prepared that way and was not as good.

This is one of my favorite places. I think the service is very good, nice workers.

We took a chance on this place a few months ago and it immediately became a favorite of ours. Food is incredible and the drinks are the best price around. They always have specials going as well. Definitely worth coming to if you are a local or visiting.

We’ve been to Lake Forest Bar and Grill few times before and the service, food, atmosphere always have been awesome! Went for Mother’s day brunch this Sunday and everything again exceeded expectation.

We did not book in advance and were seated after only 15 mins of wait!! The food was super delicious especially the french toast, tried for the first time and this was better than some of the other places Ive had it. Their food is very reasonably priced and the Moms eat free discount on Mother’s day was a nice little surprise ❣️

Thank for making the day extra special, Will definitely visit again!!

I give the food a 3 star because it's really hit out miss. My daughter had a Benedict and her eggs were hard boiled which is really not a Benedict at all. But I had the crab omelette and it was amazing! I take it all with a grain of salt because the service here is always great and now often than not the food is as well! Plus the prices and deals they have are also a bonus!

**** Hello, I was here last Friday evening. And I am ONLY giving the Lake Forest Bar & Grill a 2 star review instead of 1, because the bartender was very nice & so was the server. HOWEVER, little did I know HOW EXPENSIVE my drink & cheeseburger would be. Had I known, I would have NEVER gone in here. But I was starved and could not find another restaurant nearby. I ordered a double white-russian as it had been a LONG day. A NORMAL price range would be around $15 MAX. BUT not here, no. Their charge was about $22. YES, around the cost of what it would be in Beverly Hills. THEN I was looking through their ENTREES & could NOT get over the HIGH PRICES. I would have thought I was at a 4 or 5-star restaurant, seriously. The LEAST expensive item I saw was a cheeseburger for $20! I am at a pub & restaurant. I have NEVER seen prices like these! When I got my cheeseburger, it was a THIN piece of a Kobe Beef patty. It did have LOTS Of lettuce and a Big Bun, making it appear as if there was A LOT of protein. Such was NOT the case! I tipped the bartender well, because he was nice. Other than the service, BAD pricing for a double cocktail & a cheeseburger. I WON'T be back. ****
