I asked for a mild chicken biryani which they said they can do however they gave a very spicy version of it. Even when i asked it was mild on pick up they said its mild and the chef behind them was laughing.
Momos were fine though a bit undercooked.

We tried Nepali cuisine at The Everest Kitchen near Lake Forest Park. The cozy, clean atmosphere and friendly staff created a warm and welcoming experience.
We started with veg tandoori momos and steamed chicken momos. For the main course, we ordered Malai Kofta paired with garlic naan; the curry was wonderfully flavorful, and the naan was fresh and soft. Alongside, we enjoyed a refreshing mango lassi. For dessert, we finished with Gulab Jamun, which was delightful.
Overall, we were very satisfied with both the food and the experience. We will visit again 😋

Last evening a group of my friends-6 guys -had a wonderful experience at the Everest Kitchen. Most of them had not experienced Nepali food before.
We were treated very well by the wonderful care of the cook "Supreme". Anu and Sisi were super caring and hospitable. Anu was our hostess, and her amazing Nepali kindness and generosity came out in many ways. She's a "keeper" and demonstrates the true Nepali-wonderful people that they are.
We had such good conversations with Anu, Supreme and Sisi(I hope I'm spelling her name right).
We pray God's special blessing over their lives!
We all look forward to coming back for more and having more enjoyable Nepali language conversations.
Thank you for having us. You treated us very well.

I used to come here especially to have chicken thupka as there were no Nepalese options nearby. The recent change in chef/recipe totally messed it up. Chicken was flavorless and chewy. Soup and veggies lacked flavor. There are too many options for other Indian dishes, so Nepalese food was the usp here for me at least. Wont come again until i see multiple positive thukpa reviews.

Restaurantji Recommends
There's a few things on the menu that are very good five stars like the chicken tikka with or without bones. But you got to be careful because there's a lot of other dishes that aren't very good .

Saag tasted old and it seemed the veggies that were added were canned veggies. Also the garlic naan did not taste like garlic and had an unusual dark yellow liquid on it, instead of the butter you typically get on garlic naan. I would not recommend going here. There are plenty of other Indian restaurants to choose from.
Really good food.
Plain and simple not much spicese which is good compared to other indian restro’s.
Every bite was delightful.

Amazing flavors!! Literally taste of home. We got the daal bhaat with chicken, goat curry, jhol momo, and chicken sekuwa and all of them were really flavorful. We DEVOURED in no time. The food wait can take a while but it’s definitely worth the wait!
