this is a tough one to rate. the first time here i got shrimp pad thai. the noodles were under cooked so i returned it for another dish. the second dish the noodles and flavor were really good my only complaint would be half of the shrimp were over cooked.

second time here i got the crispy garlic chicken. it was good but a couple pieces were not good and the rice was over cooked.

i rated the atmosphere a zero because i have never sat down to eat here because every time i come they tell me i have to take it to go. it’s really strange actually.

the hours listed on the front door are confusing. apparently they close mon-friday for a couple hours so one of the ladies can pick up her kid from school? this is what i heard not sure if it’s true or why this is an issue.

the price is average i suppose compared to teriyaki or going through a drive through these days. about $21 a plate which i find a bit over priced bc i dont feel like the proportions are big.the food is inconsistent which is really too bad because it could be rated a 4.5 restaurant if they can make their food good every time.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the Lake Stevens & Marysville areas. I always have the Phad Thai with extra peanut sauce; which is always excellent. All the is staff friendly. Service is quick. I recently tried the Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce. The chicken was tender and flavorful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for excellent, awesome Thai food. You won't be disappointed.

Rice Up Thai Cuisine is a hidden gem in Lake Stevens! I ordered the chicken fried rice, and it was one of the best I have had. It was packed with flavor, served steaming hot, and the portion size was just right for the price. The vegetables were fresh and added the perfect balance to the dish. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. If you are looking for delicious Thai food that is both satisfying and affordable, this is the place to go. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

We’ve only ordered pickup takeout from this restaurant so my review is really on focused on the food. We recently moved to Lake Stevens from Everett and have been looking for a new Thai restaurant nearby so we wanted to give them a try.

I looked at their menu online and called in an order for pickup. Staff on the phone was helpful; quickly took my order and was able to answer questions I had about some ingredients in one of the dishes. Food was prepared quickly, went to pickup after about ten minutes.

Food was mostly well packaged for takeaway. One opportunity for improvement might be better separating hot and cold items; our fresh rolls got a bit warm by the time we got home.

Not a complaint but more of an observation. We generally like our food on the spicy side. We ordered a few dishes three of our five stars and would have liked a bit more spice. Just take that into consideration when placing your order.

Overall great food and we could definitely return again for takeout or to try sitting down for a meal!

We came here for years when we lived in Lake Stevens, and we were so happy to come back and find that the quality of this restaurant was just as great as we had remembered. We had the fresh spring rolls with tofu, the green curry with chicken and jasmine rice, and the garlic chicken (3 star heat), with a side of steamed veggies. Every bite was incredible, and notably the green curry (which we try everywhere we go) is the best we have ever had. We love Rice Up, and you should too. :)

Needed some veggies on my trip, so I got the vegetable stir fry with tofu and it did not dissapoint! The sauce packed a punch of flavor and the tofu was still spongy, yum. The Tom Kha was also very good and everyone in my party enjoyed their meals! Good to see a variety of vegan/veganizable options here too.

This has been one of our go-to take-out places for years. They’ve increased their prices to keep up with inflation, but recently the portion sizes have been shrinking. Tonight’s half-size container of Pad Thai was only half-full. The food is always good but the value proposition is no longer what it was.

Food was ok, service was a bit slow. This place gets a lot of take our order so the door is constantly opened and people coming and going which makes it hard to relax with how they have the seating arranged and how cold it gets.

My go to pick for Lake Steven's. Service is quick and easy. Staff is friendly and often seem like they are having fun. I have either Phad Thai or Yellow Curry (often both) and I'd say it is on my top 3 Thai in all of Washington.

My twin and I had an amazing and delicious experience. We were attended to by a sweet and competent young waitress.
Their pumpkin curry with fried tofu is really delicious; spice level three had a nice bit of heat; I may try four next time to be bold! 🌶 We also had prawn spring rolls and their sauce, while mild, was also very tasty.
This is a place I will most certainly be recommending to my friends and colleagues as well as ordering from time and again.

Needed somewhere to stop on the way home. We were in and out in 40 minutes. Food (calamari, pot stickers, yellow curry, pad thai) was fresh and delicious, service was friendly, and space was clean and comfortable.
