2 Margaritas has a bit of a captive audience at this location, but you won't hear me complain. The menu has everything you're used to and plenty you don't know (I gotta go back to try the lamb shank), and the complimentary chips and salsa are joined by a nice bean dip and this pickled mushroom salsa that was way better than I expected. The portions were generous, and it should be easy to leave with leftovers. The bar menu had a lot to offer, as well, and it's easy to see 2 Margaritas becoming a fixture of our visits to the area.Parking: It's a decent sized lot but not huge, and it is packed at peak times. Carpooling is probably smart.

Most of our food was unfortunately overcooked so it wasn't the best. A couple of things in the sampler platter were alright though. Everything was just OK.

This place is great. I haven't had this good of Mexican food since I lived in SoCal. Huge portions. Quick service. Great food. The mudslides are amazing. Love it. Not vegetarian friendly really but certainly Pescatarian friendly.

This is a nice cozy Mexican restaurant right off the highway in Lakebay. Had a great Cadillac margarita, the chips & salsa have a little kick, fajitas were delicious! Looks like a great place to catch a game at the bar or just sit down for a family meal. Definitely coming back.Olympic Otter

We are visiting from out of town and were really excited to still be able to get Mexican food nearby. We arrived well before the dinner rush, so it looked like we were the only ones there, at least in the main dining area. The staff were very friendly, and they even replaced my strawberry margarita (without me even mentioning or asking) because they didn't think it tasted good or was up to par (I'm guessing they made another after mine and realized?). I honestly thought it tasted fine, but the second one definitely tasted better. This is the first Mexican restaurant that has ever brought out salsa, bean dip, and a mushroom salsa when you sit down... And I've been to. A LOT of Mexican restaurants. Everything tasted great! I got a burrito and my husband got a shrimp dish. Both came with a lot of food, so come hungry!
Ordered take out today... Large portions, but the flavor of salt was overbearing. Both my husband and I could only eat a small amount. Sorry for the bad review, Lakebay really needs a restaurant, but eating salt for a meal? Yeah, never again.

We ordered combination plates, one with chili verde burrito and chili relleno with mexican rice and beans. So spicy! Way too hot to eat, I don't get it! I understand a little heat, but this was so hot, it's like they spilled hot chili peppers all over everything--even the normally bland rice and beans! WHY? C'mon, I make Mexican food, including chili verde and it's spicy but with spices and garlic, not hot chili peppers...burn your stomach lining right off
