“Completely unexpected and unplanned stop after a weekend road trip pursuing the elusive Malachite. Saw the truck as we were about to pass and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! The burrito is ginormous, tasty & service is speedy. The surroundings for a lunch are gorgeous. Definitely recommend and we will be back!”

“Hubby has been wanting to try this place for months, he’s a pizza fan. We finally called in an order tonight and the woman on the phone was very friendly to take our order. Great customer service! We were impressed by the fresh ingredients, great quality of food, full of flavor, and sauces tasted like they’re made in house. Cheesy garlic bread sticks were bomb.com! So much flavor and the right amount of cheese. Huge serving of them! Marinara sauce was way better than most pizza joints. Buffalo sauce which we normally don’t like (ordered on the side for wings), was amazing and didn’t have that Tabasco vinegar spicy taste most buffalo sauces or wing sauce contains. I’m glad we got it on the side to try anyways! The cinnamon twists come in a huge order for 16in, I wasn’t expecting so much and wished we got the smaller order but they were delicious. Light and fluffy and right amount of cinnamon and sugar. My hubby is going to take their advice and try it in his coffee in the morning. And the winning dish- the Pizza! Since hubby is a pizza fan he wanted to start with a basic pepperoni with extra cheese and get a feel for it. His jaw dropped when he saw how big the slices were and instantly fell in love with this place! lol The first thing I noticed was how fresh the pizza crust looked and it’s artisan style, was even better when I tried it. The extra cheese covered over great quality pepperonis with the pizza sauce and fresh crust, it was AMAZING! He said no more Seabeck pizza after having Allyn pizza. Thank you for making your food with love and fresh ingredients, it shows in the quality and taste of the food! We will be coming back for more!”

“Traveled from Florida to visit my daughter. We went to Close to Home Espresso for a coffee, and it was the BEST coffee ever! Not to mention the lady working was absolutely the happiest person I have ever met at a coffee shop. Went back on day two and had the exact same experience only with a different worker. She was so happy! So, I was leaving at 0530 the next day, it was so good that I went in the afternoon to get a coffee to warm up the next day! Their coffee is so good that it is good warmed up the next morning! Wish I could get that coffee at home in Florida! Thank you for adding to the fun of my visit!”

“Delightful experience. Fresh food with wonderful above average special flavors in the recipes. The music was nice, the staff were just right on the table visits, not too much, but stopped by enough to check if we were good. I asked her if she could have my buns separate from the meat as they get soggy on our 20 minute ride home and she sat there wanting to argue with me about they would get soggy separated. After finally doing as I asked. When we got called for our order she was very short with me. Maybe a bad day for her, but still a poor representation of Big Bubbas Burgers.”

When I first started going to this location, it took 20 to 30 minutes sometimes to get your food and that has improved tenfold in the last year.

And if by chance I do have to wait a long time in line, the food is guaranteed to be hot and fresh so I don’t necessarily mind.

I find that the customer service in the last six months to one year have also improved and have even been pleasant.”
