I want to thank Jin sushi for the best meal I have had in a very long time. I made a special request to their menu to provide for my special needs due to having severe authorities in my hands. They accommodated my needs and my meal was so much more enjoyable having sushi then I have had in a very long time and I want to say thank you for helping me with my special needs I enjoyed your dinner very much and thank you for taking the time to help me. ?

I moved to Missouri from Tacoma, WA, a year ago, and I miss the wide variety of food choices... especially sushi and udon. The sushi chef and hostess/waitress were so incredibly nice. I ordered beef udon, gyoza, and a rainbow roll and everything was SO delicious!! I want some mochi ice cream, but I was too stuffed. I can't wait to visit again so that I can come back!

A Mixed Experience at Jin SushiDuring my visit to Jin Sushi, I encountered a blend of delightful ambiance and less than desirable service that left me with mixed feelings. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the restaurant's decor both creating a warm and welcoming environment. The staff greeted us with smiles, adding to the initial positive impression. However, the pleasantness of the environment were somewhat overshadowed by the service timing. After being seated, we experienced a lengthy wait of up to 30 minutes before our order was taken. Given the restaurant's promising atmosphere, this initial delay was unexpected and set a tone of anticipation for the meal to come. The wait for our food further compounded our growing impatience. Almost an hour passed before our appetizers were served, a duration that seemed excessive for dishes typically known for their quick preparation. This delay was particularly disappointing, considering our eagerness to dive in the experience seemingly promised by such an inviting settingWhen our entrees finally arrived, it could best be described as decent. While the dishes were competently prepared, they did not stand out as memorable or exceptional. The flavors and presentation were satisfactory but did not compensate for the prolonged wait times we endured. In summary, despite Jin Sushi having visually appealing decor and the friendly demeanor of its staff, the overall experience was broken by service delays. The wait times, both for placing orders and receiving food, were considerably longer than what one might reasonably expect, especially in a setting that seemed ready to deliver a pleasant dining experience. While the food was decent, it did not reach a level that could overlook the service shortcomings. Jin Sushi has huge potential, but the current execution of service does not merit a strong recommendation. It's a place that might be worth trying if you're in no hurry and have time to spare, but it's not a destination that warrants going out of your way for.

I am what I would describe as a " sushi person" but I was next door at the laundromat and was feeling hungry. Ordered their California rolls and gyoza. Both were delicious. I wasn't able to finish them and brought some back to my kid who " hoovered up" my leftovers in mere minutes. I can imagine everything on their menu is also tasty.

Our waitress was the sweetest! The food was the best I’ve had since moving here a few years ago from Hawaii, it was amazing. Their miso soup is so delicious too! Overall the atmosphere and service in the restaurant was very inviting as well as great food. My boyfriend and I have truly found a hidden gem and will definitely be returning! Definitely try it out for yourselves, you will not be disappointed!

Hands down amazing. The sushi was so fresh and flavorful. Plating is beautiful and meticulous. I forget the name of the ramen I had. It was with sesame oil and peanuts...but it was so packed with flavor. The gal who took our order was so sweet and friendly made great recommendations. The inside was really well maintained and clean. 10/10 recommend and will be back.

This place is my new go to sushi place in the Tacoma/Lakewood area. The rolls are immaculate tasting and are of great quality. I think the atmosphere here is amazing with how nice the staff are here and how clean the restaurant is. I definitely recommend.

Nondescript storefront in a strip mall but the food is actually good! It was pretty slow when we went for dinner, so we were seated and attended to quickly. Sushi chef at the bar makes all the rolls to order. There are a bunch of seats at the bar to watch him work. Rolls are a good size and very tasty! Solid selection of rolls and appetizers. We got the salmon collar... so tender and melts in your mouth. I think our party of 2 could have been fine with 3 rolls instead of 4... we had leftovers to take home! Prices are average. They do have sake and beer here, including the beer tower!
