Ilias was super knowledgeable and gave my wife and I a nice little tour of their operation as well as letting us taste their wonderful selection of wines and brandys. I would recommend this wonderful little nook of a distillery to any wine/brandy lovers.

This is a distillery that is tucked behind the B&I Public Market. It's not one of the shops in the market but is in a adjacent building from the market so keep that in mind. We sampled a bunch of their spirits which we settled on getting with their Rakomelo. It's a lovely spirit with honey, cinnamon, cloves and made primarily with grapes. It was an excellent spiced spirit and yet despite the ingredients mentioned wasn't too sweet but came off balanced. All of the spirit recipes are Greek influenced. On another note I loved their design and wanted to get a t shirt with the design. T shirts are available but not at the tasting room. You need to order them at Mastroguanni's website and it will be shipped to you.

Fantastic time at the Distillery today!!! Ilias was one of the most kind, warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable distillers I've ever met! He offered us tastings, told us the history, and showed us what they were working on!!! We learned a lot and got to taste some fantastic spirits while we were there. We will for sure be going back!

First experience with Brandy (being a whiskey guy) - The Baton is very nice in a cocktail and neat - we loved it!

Such kind people. My roommate and I have been craving Rakomelo ever since we came back from our trip to Greece, but it's almost impossible to find. I bought some from Mastrogiannis as a Christmas gift and they hand delivered it to my office!

Tricky to find (unit B10) but well worth the effort. Friendly, family-run place doing small-batch distillation from wine and fruit. Owner Elias had a distilling run in progress yet was happy to give us the tour and a tasting. The barrel aged brandy is impressive, the grappa is amazing, and the ouzo is unbelievably good. In fact it was one of the other distillers in town that turned me on to this place specifically for the ouzo. I'm sure I'll be going back for more.

This is one of my favorite distilleries. You can tell they care about their craft, and because of the small batch nature they often remember their customers.
