I am a connoisseur of Mexican cuisine and my home I always fry my shells thanks to my Orpilla family but recently I have been on a crunchy taco kick and my friend showed up and brought me out to Tacoma and we had a hard time finding a place that was open because it's Easter so he took me to Mazatlan on South Tacoma Way and it is amazing in here. Right now they are giving my prior experience a run for its money this place is awesome!!

Wanted to try something different because we're new to the area, and to be very honest, the selection of cultural restaurants is narrow. So we decided to give it a chance and I have to say, it was absolutely worth every penny. We were seated very quickly and given complimentary chips and salsa and were also served our drinks fast as well. My wife ordered the two (2) chimichanga combination dinner served with a very generous portion of rice & and beans, and I ordered...

Such an interesting place. Coming from California and having so much experience with Mexican food this Washington state establishment left us a little flat, but it was good service.
