This is an order-at-the-counter place where a server brings your order to you. After asking for a recommendation, I ordered what turned out to be outstanding chilaquiles with asada - spicy, with quality ingredients and a generous portion - and I also enjoyed a delicious horchata. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend.

If you want authentic Mexican food, well, this is the place. Big portions and full of flavor. Menudo on weekends is a must have for me with homemade corn tortillas and champurrado ?

We just got takeout from here and omg - the food was amazing! We ordered a combination of tacos pastor, pollo, and the chilaquiles! First of all the tacos were some of the most authentic tasting outside of Mexico that I've had locally. Also, the chilaquiles were just soo good. The lady who cashed me out was pleasant as well. Definitely a new go to Mexican spot for me. They deserve more reviews!

It's a small place, so I can hear you and have a plan b.Customer service is excellent, clean place, food is yummy, their coffee and champurrado is awesome. My favorite dish asada chilaquilesI do will like for them to have a better menue for children bc their quesadilla and cheeseburger weren't that tastyIt's a very small place, so come prepared for a plan b.The customer service attention is super, it is very clean, delicious food and the coffee is a gem? and champurrado, my favorite are the roast chilaquiles. The only thing I would like them to have is more menu variety for the kids because the quesadillas and cheeseburgers don't taste good.Thank you

This is a tiny place and when I give 5 stars for atmosphere I am referring to how Martha made us feel at home. She took good care of us. Food was tasty. I had a quesadilla with pork (al pastor) which came with a simple lettuce and cheese salad which I loved. My boyfriend had something that started with an H (it was like a long flat bread tostada). Thank you again Martha! It was so nice to meet you!

Was in the neighborhood car shopping when we got hungry and found these folks on google. So glad we did; food was very authentic and affordable. Martha was super helpful, nice and had a great sense of humor. I had the #11 and had never experienced this dish before. It was something I will always order. 5 Stars plus for sure!

This place is a hidden gem in the Lakewood South Tacoma area. Mi casa is such a fitting name, the hospitality and customer service is top notch. You really feel like you are at a family members house getting taken care of by the wonderful lady that runs the counter. The food is amazing as well, I usually go for the street tacos with the best tortillas I've ever had.

Delicious Mexican food and fairly inexpensive! I have found a few gems as far as Mexican Restaurants go on South Tacoma Way and MI Casa is one of those.I didn't get anything too elaborate and stuck to simple for the menu. I got four Asada Tacos for lunch. Steve got three tacos of a different meat.We both immensely enjoyed what we had as the tacos were fresh and extremely flavorful!Definitely coming back for future meals as this first outing was most satisfying!

Food here was great and the service was nice. If you are going here for your first time, the service might not be as good (indicated by the review), and this is because they have a different system. If you are dining in, you go to the register and say that you’re dining in and what you want to order. You then pay and sit where you’d like and you’ll get the food via a server or they will call you up. The workers might sound like they have an attitude, but they are very nice and accommodating. They probably seem like they have an attitude due to how efficient they want to be, but, when I was ordering, the worker at the register made sure I had everything I wanted and payed attention to ask if I wanted anything off or on my order (e.g., cilantro, onions, type of meat, any substitutions). They also asked if I wanted any drinks and proceeded to show me the drinks and told us that we could just say the colors if we couldn’t see the words (which was true since I did not bring my glasses). Ordering out is the same process as dining in, however, it’s even easier since it’s almost grab-and-go.

I usually do not enjoy fries covered in random things but, you guys, hear me out... The carne azada fries are magical. All the food was high flavor (the spicy smoky red sauce is the Best), it came out fast and the service is friendly and efficient. Order at the counter and slap your number on the table, easy peasy. Dining area is small but everyone is in a great mood and the turnaround is fast. Clean and cozy, parking is plentiful, it adds well to a shopping trip in the area.

Came here to try their barbacoa but was informed that they only serve on weekends. Still, we ordered a variety of food options off the menu since we made quite the drive, and the food was pretty tasty, to say the least.I got to try their Hamburgesa Hawaiana (Hawaiin Hamburger), and this may be because it's a Mexican restaurant, but the fries were really dry and soggy.. very not fresh. Nonetheless, I would stop by again to get their banging champurado and tacos al pastor.
