Came in late on a Sunday night for a take out order and received phenomenal service. We were probably close to closing time, but they ushered us in without any hesitation, took our large order and were so kind as to bring us a few snacks while we waited for our order. Ate at Sushi Ya last night with friends and family. There were 4 of us so we took one of the 2 tables available. The place is small but the food was great. The staff were very nice. We ordered 10 sushi rolls (spider, shrimp tempura, salmon, yellow tail, Boston, Philadelphia, tuna, salmon avocado, sushi Ya roll, and last one I forgot).
Edited: this place’s food is good but after coming back a couple of times I’ve seen the owners treat the restaurant host rude (I’ve seen this with multiple hosts). They snap at them and it seems like a hostile work environment, making being a customer there a bit uncomfortable. Mistakes happen so try to give nice feedback and be more kind.
