The Adriatic at Oakbrook

Went for hh yesterday…really disappointed. We were anticipating the bellini as we had seen pics on social media… this drink was a huge fail and expensive on top of it. It was basically a pile of ice ;(. The Old Fashion I had next was much better but my husband’s gin and tonic was weak. We ordered off the hh menu for food; the burger and fries (just a burger~nothing special). I enjoyed the mini chop salad and the caprese skewers; good value for the cost.
Sorry, I would not recommend the hh at this restaurant.

This friggin place. The hours are awful in the winter andi they’re absolutely stupid in the summer. Sometimes I go in and I can get service other times I go in and sit at the bar 20 minutes. It’s always something weird and my experiences have never been good to speak of. Awesome golf course with sun par food and beverage is the best way to describe this place. It’s been screwed up for over a year and has not gotten any better.

I have been here three times in the last few weeks and have had incredibly delicious meals, drinks and dessert. I love the ambiance outside on a sunny day but the real deal is in the bar during happy hour! $10 Bolognese?! One of their best dishes is only $10 during happy hour and I still had leftovers!! So yummy. Happy hour wine is only $6. Pretty amazing! Their sauces are obviously made from scratch. I highly recommend their salmon linguini or alfredo. The bolognese has so much flavor - definitely a repeat dish for me. Salad and desserts are on point, as well. I will be back!

I ordered food today on the 7th hole. On hole 8 I got an email saying my order was canceled by the restaurant and I’d be refunded. After hole 9 I stopped in the Adriatic to see why my order was canceled. This was at about 5:30pm. There was a waitress near the door so I asked her what happened. She said she’d check on it then disappeared. She reappeared so others in my group asked again, she said “in a moment”, then went to do everything other than help us. My group stood there for like 15 min trying to get her to help, and we were ignored. Keaton came over so we asked him and he tried to help; he was nice. I don’t care much about the issue with the order, what I care about is being ignored by the waitress when I was patient enough to remind her of the problem multiple times, and there was never a resolution. I never got my food, or an answer on what happened, just ignored. I’ve never had such a difficult time trying to get food while golfing.

Our party of 4 with a reservation was seated immediately, but didn't get drinks ordered for 20 min. Then another 20 min to get them to the table. Another 15 min before the food order was taken and nearly an hour before the food arrived. Another family was seated, got their meal, and left before we even got our food. It was tasty and they did take some $$ off the bill, but overall not done well.

Portions are healthy and great tasting as always!

Amazing hidden gem

The service and food as always were excellent. We enjoy the variety of choices and like that you are open for lunch.

Chef Bill is one of the most underrated in the business! He cooks with his heart and creates a comfortable and friendly environment for a meal and night out!

Amazing flavors with wonderful presentation. Excellent service and an outstanding wine list.

We had a wonderfully intimate dinner. The food was delicious and the service we received from Nicki was excellent.

Overall our dinner at The Adriatic was good. The food was very tasty (except we didn't care for their version of tiramisu which was like a brownie with a ball of mascarpone mixture on top). The service was friendly enough. But the biggest disappointment was the wait time for the food. We were at the restaurant well over an hour before we got our entrees. It was not busy so we're not sure why it took so long. In any case, I think we would try it again based on the food to see if things would move more quickly.

four different menu items by four different people. seafood, chicken, pork, salad with good portions, attentive server, early reservation so quiet for conversation. would recommend highly

We are so happy that Chef Bill has so many of his wonderful dishes from his past restaurant in this menu. Nikki was our server and she is wonderful!!! We had the ceasar salad, crisp condone tossed with a snacking dressing with the slight sharpness of anchovies with garlic and cheese. The bread with smeared garlic and Cambazola cheese is a winner! We need to come back at dinner time to enjoy the ahi tuna and grilled romaine salad

Great food, very quiet and comforting location.
