If I can't say bad words in a bar full of drunk, fully grown adults, this isn't the place for me. I was singing a song for karaoke and the DJ and host both shamed me ON MIC in the middle of the song. That's not cool. It was very embarrassing. She then told me AFTER the song was over that she doesn't allow three specific bad words. One was racist the other two were just simple bad words. Lame. The word was not used in a hateful or violent manner. The lyric was describing how well the singer could play the guitar. It was "What I Got" by sublime. A song about all he has is love in his heart despite being beaten down by corny, lame outside forces trying to keep him down. I finished the song but we won't be back. I'll take "what I got" and go somewhere else. French fries were delicious. Side eyes from the wait staff for only ordering water because I'm sober was kind of disheartening. I did tip almost 50% for fries, a soda and my wife's drinks because I understand slanging water isn't their favorite thing to do.

The staff was great, and worked hard all night. But if I can't say naughty words in a bar full of drunk adults having a great time then that's just not the place for me. Shaming me on mic during the song for singing one bad word during karaoke isn't really all that cool. It's pretty embarrassing. Especially when I wasn't warned beforehand. The context of the word wasn't directed at any one person, group of people or even had any sort of negative connotation. I could understand if the song was raunchy or inappropriate. It was actually an expression on how well the person singing the song could play guitar. We won't be back for karaoke.

Just want to say I’ve been coming here off and on for 6 years now. Love that these guys do karaoke on the regular and trivia on Tuesdays. Always have something awesome happening. Very relaxed sports atmosphere unless the Seahawks are playing. Then they’re rowdy like the rest of the 12’s. Bar staff is extremely helpful and nice. Always treating everyone with respect besides drunk arses. Thank you all for everything. Mr. Brownbeard.

The bartenders are rude and cold to customers that are not regulars. Another poor place in Lakewood WA. Used to be a good place to go. Edit: The owner talked to me about my dissatisfaction. Told me all her negative reviews are by racists and drunks. Being Native American I found that extremely insulting. Will never go there again.

Poor bartender. Cold Attitude and very unfriendly. Told her this bar was very nostalgic to us, as we had drank there often in our early 20’s (a decade prior) she didn’t care…. Gave us poor service and a last call of 1:10 am with a cold shoulder. Pretty bummed as you can tell the bartenders are running Their own agenda opposite of what a business owner would Hope from a hometown establishment.

Beer was expensive for three beers 20.25. They charge for gratuity 20% per bill whether you’re part of a large group “6” or not and they don’t tell you. The server did a terrible job and hardly checked on us. So I don’t see why we had to pay 20%.
