(This is a review for their coffee, which I have shipped to me.)
Unfortunately we came at 11am on a Saturday and they were closed :( couldn’t figure out why, google said they were open, but there was nobody there, no signs to say why they were closed. 2 people drove up while we were looking around, also trying to get service. Don’t know what happened but it looked like it would be so cute and cozy if it was open!!
Dang! This place is good! We have been coming to this paradise in the woods for yearsCheck out the croissant with eggs bacon aioli and avocado So good also bagel with garlic cream cheese and fresh smoked salmon. coffee is great roasted on site
Good coffee, friendly service and lovely pastries! The outdoor patio is such a comfortable and welcoming place!
A truly unique experience. Don't miss it!
Order coffee on line is easy. Great food and very comfortable. Spend some time there and visit. Great venue
No time limit, enjoy the gorgeous garden and find table with a heat lamp to eat your meal and drink your favorite java/tea. It was almost noon, so I had pancakes with blueberries - never thought that I could eat them all, but I did. My friend hat the fabulous burrito. Had a wonderful London fog tea with honey and cinnamon. We enjoyed the relaxing place, watched the birds and their singing, as well as the sunshine. Brought some coffee home to give to a friend who loves their decaf coffee.
One of my favorite cafés on the planet. Beautiful art and sculptures (big ones!) created by a local artist. Gorgeous dog-friendly back room and wooded back porch with heaters and a fire pit. Always great food and currently serving from outdoor stand on back porch.
We flew in for breakfast and enjoyed a hearty and very tasty meal! Great service. We were able to distance from others and felt cozy even eating outside.
Good coffee -- Great Atmosphere

Always wonderful to enjoy amazing cuisine, feel welcomed by Brianna and Fiona, and immerse yourself in nature with coffee roasting as the aura that surrounds you. Thank you Gary for creating such a wonderful space.
Ordered a good amount of food but it came very late while we watched other people get theirs and even finished before getting our food. We also ordered drinks and those never came. The food finally came but no drinks we ordered. By the time we finished our food, we were all set to go and still no drinks. After waiting awhile and checking on those drinks, we decided to leave. The people there were sorry and tried to get us them but it really wasnt worth the wait. AFTER leaving and being pretty sad, they said they would comp the drinks that I never got and when I looked at my account balanced they charged me for them anyway. Feeling like service is always like this for me, also I was only brown guy there! Not a good vibe there, didn't feel welcome... There are much better cafes on Whidbey!Response to owner:I remember it very distinctly, it was my birthday weekend and we were staying on whidbey for that weekend. Your cafe is the one where you drive through a forest road to a almost warehouse like area (its so distinct and to assume that I went to another place). And though the wait staff was nice, they assured me they would refund the drinks and never did, I can also pull receipts up if you want! Y'all not validating my experience is making me feel even sadder for going to your establishment...wish there was something less than one star now :(
This is absolutely my favorite south Whidbey coffee roaster and cafe. The Muk absolutely has my favorite coffee- HAPPY HIPPIE?. Whether you bike, walk or fly in you must definitely get coffee and the Huevos Rancheros ?
Such a hidden treasure. Their hours and menu are out of date as they've adjusted due to COVID.
OMG! Loved everything about this place. Excellent coffee, and with hemp milk like I like it best. My family and I had breakfast there, and all of the items were delish - blueberry danish was extra flaky and not sickly sweet, biscuits and gravy to die for (as good as Pine State in Portland), and the bagel sandwich was super tasty, chewy and flavorful. As expected, everything was served in to-go containers, so I wish I could've enjoyed my cappuccino in a real cup, but these are the times right now. Worth the trek into the woods for sure!
