I was really looking forward to my lunch here. I thought it was a nice neighborhood pizza place. Now I realize it's geared more towards the tourist trade. Don't get me wrong, the location is great with great views. The server was friendly but lacking. The food on the other hand was disappointing. When my uncle and I saw the spaghetti with olive oil and butter we were sold, but who gets meatballs without sauce? The spaghetti tasted bland, not properly salted while cooking....
I was OVERJOYED to find this place -- hands down the best pizza I have had in Washington. As a New York transplant, I was OVER THE MOON when I saw there was garlic powder at the table. I have not encountered this anywhere in Washington, but in NY? Super common. When I tried the clam garlic pizza, I almost cried -- it was SOOOOOOO delicious in the most epic, can't stop thinking about it, ways. I loved my pizza and will get another one when I visit in November!
We did take out and ate on the patio. Food took awhile because it was a holiday weekend, but worth the wait. Staff was friendly and the food was affordable. One large pizza and one bonus slice fed our family of five. And you cannot beat the view.
