Bavarian restaurant in downtown Leavenworth. Food was fine but nothing special. It lacked flavor and presentation. Prices are a little high for what you get. Staff was friendly. It was a fine experience for what was available but I do not plan on returning and wouldn’t recommend to others.
Worthwhile stop. The German sausage was good and the beer options were what I was looking for. The soft pretzel was good and the curry ketchup was memorable. It was a little quiet but we were there in the late afternoon. A little bit pricey but it seemed reasonable given the competition.
I ordered a Reuben. Great bread. I asked to have mustard instead of thousands island dressing. They gave me honey mustard. The only choice available. I was very disappointed. Great service.
