Bavarian Bakery has that classic, no‑nonsense charm—fresh pastries, simple flavors, and a warm, old‑world feel that fits Leavenworth perfectly. It’s a quick, satisfying stop where everything tastes homemade and comforting without trying too hard. A small, reliable bakery with plenty of heart.
They have the most amazing gluten free macaroons! My wife can’t eat gluten and we both love baked goods. When we come from Seattle this the first place we go. There are other gf options as well but the macaroons are special!

We sampled baked goods from the top Google-reviewed places. It was a costly endeavor. Of all the places/bakeries/grocery stores/restaurants, recommendations, etc., this place is as the real deal! It had the Brötchen, Brots, pretzels, Hörnchen, Mohn Brot/pastry, Bienenstich, raisin bread, cinnamon bread, and rye bread. It had it all. And it was all excellent. EXCELLENT!
