10 Best Coffee Shops in Leavenworth

“What a gem of a coffee shop and cafe in the heart of downtown Leavenworth. WA, the cute little Bavarian-style town in the mountains of Washington State. Came for the coffee, as we are always looking for good, local coffee shops and were delighted to discover their food (those biscuits!!!) was amazing! Tried several menu items over the few days we were staying in the area and were never disappointed…everything was delicious (did I mention the biscuits??? ☺️). Truly a must stop while you are in town or just passing through…highly recommended!!!“

“My wife and I have been here twice now on two separate trips to Leavenworth, and both times it was a treat. My wife loves the yarn. I love the coffee. So naturally, we have reached the perfect marital arrangement: she gets her yarn, I get my caffeine, and nobody has to talk to me more than absolutely necessary. 😂

Homespun Pear is such a lovely, cozy little spot to sit down and unwind. The coffee is great, the atmosphere is great, and it has that comfortable “I could sit here for way longer than I intended” kind of vibe.

I did see a few comments mentioning that the service/customer service left something to be desired. And I completely understand that everyone has different expectations…
But apparently I was born for this place. I am 100% a “leave me alone until I come find you” customer. 😂

Please don't ask me if I need anything. I don't know. I'm still looking at things. I may need something in 45 seconds. I may need something in 45 minutes. I may simply sit here drinking coffee and contemplating the meaning of life. Forced small talk? No thank you. Awkward “just checking in!” encounters? Also no thank you.

Being allowed to peacefully exist until I decide I need something? Now THAT is customer service. 😂

So I'm giving an extra ⭐ specifically for the introvert-friendly, unpaid personal-space service. My wife gets her yarn. I get my coffee. Nobody bothers me. Everybody wins.

“I'm from Texas. These owners tout their history as being Texans. I ordered the chicken fried steak. Expecting a steak similar at least to what I use to getting in Texas. However, no such luck. While everything tasted good (except the gravy) I was disappointed in the chicken fried steak. The other thing I wanted was grits and the lady taking our orders stated to me that there were no grits ever. Even though I saw them on the menu on your web site. I live in Wenatchee and an hour is quite a drive for a breakfast I can easily get in Wenatchee and it will be served on a plate with silverware instead of a paper plate with plastic silverware.“

“A delicious-smelling store with a variety of spices and teas for all palates. We went home with some smoked salts (awesome) and some Purple Mountain Majesty tea - cold brew it overnight for a gentler hibiscus flavor! (Also some Dragonwell green at a very good price.) The staff was polite and understood my tea snob questions!“
