3rd best bakery in town. Strudel had more pastry than fruit. A good one has at least 2X fruit to crust ratio.
Likewise the cheese danish had much more pastry than cheese filling. A good one is at least 1:1.

Went to the Danish Bakery in Leavenworth on a random summer weekday morning and wow, they had so many options. Cases were full of fresh stuff, strudels, turnovers, Danish, pretzels, all of it. Food was amazing, super fresh and delicious.

There was a long line and only one cashier. The guy was so nice and helpful though. You could tell he was crazy busy but he never let it show. He just kept being friendly with everyone and honestly seemed like he actually enjoyed...

Cherry and raspberry strudel are vegan, as well as the apple turnover, but they’re not labeled as such. We would’ve passed this place over had we not seen this listing. We got the cherry strudel and it was pretty good, but the filling tasted store-bought. Unfortunately, the pretzels are not vegan. Updated from previous review on 2026-06-08
